the aftermath
then after that i made yc run back n forth from engin block to university hall there just to find out that I'm too kanchiong abt reimbursement...haha...sorry yc..
oh ya, then met some indos in PGP, they are quite friendly but i really dunno any of them lah. I think they are mostly newbie...so young...me so old.haha...this one not impt lah. shld be more open n make friends now. that's why i decided to go for engin camp. hopefully it's fun n wont get ostracised....
need to bid for modules soon but feel super lost now coz i dun have the bulletins which cost 10 bucks...sigh money money money. uni life is very very different from JC or sec where u can just anyhow follow ppl. now i have to determine my own path but I'm so scared of making mistakes...that's my weakness. a perfectionist at heart. haha I admit it myself actually.
the 3rd is my matric day. another hectic day, yet super impt. and must decide wad cca I'm joining later. I'm so divided coz i feel like tying everything but I got the premonition that i'll be like the old times where I'm just too lazy to sign up due to the auditions.haha...just take the easy way. but why not try n adventure?
these days my life only evolves ard uni life only. nothing else to boast abt...haha
but it's good to see more n more familiar faces around.

My first post from this Uni....
actually I've came for 1 week 1 day. For the first few days, my mom was here to accompany me. but I really have to face the reality now... I've been staying in my aircon showered room for 2 days... luckily home sick didnt hit me after being so comfortable at home for 7 months....
So far, I only met very few ppl I noe, n pgp is so foreign to me.
wad I hate the most now is that it's super far from town, need to spend more than 1 dlr to get to orchard. last time 45 cents can get me anywhere. but I predict that Orchard will be less visited in the future.
Haiz, I think i shld go n explore n find out more convenient way to get to town instead of taking shuttle, change to 96 to clementi then take mrt (must change summore)....blah...it's really such a long way.
Actually in pgp I can hear lots of ppl around speaking indonesians but i just dunno them lah... blame my cowardness n lack of confidence, I just dun have the will to approach them n introduce myself... besides, these grp of indos seems to be just arriving n start their journey in sg (not sure though). no prejudice against them, but them seem to be the rara grp who are loud wherever they go. cant seem to fit in, n dun bother to fit in. I prefer my old cliques...(who dont rite?). but really, I feel that we are much more mature n have past that period aledy...got rara times, but different kind of rara...haiz, just different lah, u noe.
but i think need to adapt lah, cant just lock myself in the room. seriously, i dun wanna be an antisocial thru'out my stay here. and I'm very aware that I need a good head start.
Gather ur courage n stand up!offer ur hands n make friends!!yes, I can!

_No packing pls_
I’m leaving for s’pore on 20th july. Regret making the decision of leaving early. Budden I think it’s no diff leaving late or early. Sooner or later it will come to u.
Leaving means packing. And it is never easy for me as I need to pack everything, whether I need it or not. As a result, I got 2 huge luggage full of clothings n bedsheet n towel only. That is not includind my shoes, small2 stuff, bags. Oh die lah, hope it wont be overweight even after counting in my mom’s share… that’s why I need to cut down on some stuff that I can buy in s’pore, but it oso means money money money…
Btw, I still got like 4 big boxes of stuff in my cousins place. I cant really remember wad other junk I kept last time, even after throwing large amount of it end of last year (really out of despair….) Oh ya, I remember some useless stuff that I still keep even though I noe it just made the box heavier…my whole stack of free postcards that I can collect easily. It’s kinda hard to throw them away coz there are lots of them….sayang lah!
Then got JC notes which I have sorted out and throw some away…and I doubt I will still flip thru it in Uni…that was 4 thick files….
Haiz, the more I think, the more headache I get…luckily mummy coming with me…haha I’m still mommy’s girl…

I am 19 going on 20…yes, I am 20 now!
My bdae this year was different from my bdaes for the last 4 years….when I was in sg, bdaes are celebrated midnite….wif friens coming to your room, Surprising u at 12 pm….which is something I miss now as we are all separated now.
But my bdae 2 days ago was just with the family. It is such a coincidence that during my bdae, my cousins are oso ard…so we just had a dinner to celebrate my special day.
Btw, I oso found someone who has the same birthday as me…haha…this is kinda rare for me…she’s a friend from the badminton club that I was in…not that close to her though…
Actually this whole week has been damn tiring. I cant remember when was the last time I actually sit down and just stone. Since my cousins wanted to go dufan, I had to accompany them there again one day before my bdae, not that I did not want to go….haha…but going dufan is always as tiring as ever. The hot weather made u lazy to take some ride coz must queue for so long. Plus, its holiday season n everybody’s going there….budden got to ride this silly ride that I didn’t try the last time…it’s the Perang Bintang. From the name only, I’m sorta clueless wad to expect inside (it is an indoor thing)… yes, in the end I found out that inside u are supposed to get on to the “vehicle” and shoot on enemies…which was kinda kiddy but fun. Not dangerous but exciting.haha….I’m so gutless….
And yesterday was donut day. Went to J.co at senayan city…it’s a new mall btw. We queued at J.CO to buy donut as oleh2 for my cousins. End up sitting there, buying more donuts n finish them in a zap. The donuts were yummy n not like other donuts, it’s soft n easy to bite…kinda weird kind of description. Love the glazzy one so much….n the queue never really shorten….crazy lah!
Okay, I’ve summarized wad I did for the last 3 days…blah!

-Migraine days-
aledy booked my flight to sg on 20th July....early i noe, but mom's coming with me so shld be no prob....
today shld be going out wif vd...but in the end I'm here writing this blog coz the car cant make it....sigh...now dwee n vd must be having fun in mkg while I'm stoning at home....
last sunday I went Bandung...not a very special kinda place...but I went there with my cousins....went to the factory outlet called rumah mode...went crazy n bought lotsa t-shirts... I noticed, most of the car are from jakarta...jakarta ppl are really good in making a place crowded...plus the traffic jam...luckily the road are smooth n straight. not like the liku-liku road to puncak which I really dread...that's why i hate going puncak. Bandung is not bad. the food was nice too...but due to my sore throat cant eat chilli...bleh, irritating.
Last time I said I was excited to go uni soon. but it's different now...just feel like hiding in my shell forever...getting really comfy at home. dun feel like moving, the thought of packing n staying in a new place do not please me now...sigh...but this a road to travel...grow up lah!!!
okay...no more complaining n rambling....cheer up now..!

Budden let me describe the inside of the theatre… One theatre consists of only 60 seats…(6 rows x 10 seats every row)….the distance between rows is more than enuf for a passage way n stretching legs... and, the most special thing is the seat! Yes, if u watch friends and noe wad kind of chair Chandler n Joey have…that’s wad u get there…A seat where u can adjust the back of the chair till u are almost in sleeping position…and there’s the leg supporter…basically super comfy…If there’s no movie showing, I might just sleep their for hours coz they oso provide blanket….zzzzz the thot of it aledy makes me wanna doze off. Yep, but luckily they do provide blanket coz my feet were freezing cold by the end of the movie….
Abt the movie itself, Superman Return has typical superheroes movie plot not as good as wad I expect…but the experience of watching it was good coz the effect was damn good….(maybe it was becoz of The Place)…. And eye candy helps to boost the quality of the movie…besides the cute Clark Kent (Brandon Routh), Lois Lane (Kate Bronsworth..she's so pretty) and… oso got the guy who played as Scott in X-men… Okay, I shld not provide any spoiler here…but Overall the movie was entertaining, but did not leave deep impression….but no harm watching though…coz it’s good for the eye (as I said before, eye candies available)
Enuf of the good stuff…coz as I was watching Superman, my throat is torturing me, even at the point when I’m writing this…sore throat is terrible…coz it will lead to headache, fever, muscleache…hope this torture will be over soon…help! Nice food taste bad as I cant really swallow them,….no popcorn during movies…..haiz..
Back to soccer fever…I noe this is a bit outdated but I still wanna comment on England vs Portugal…I think the heart of many England fans were broken…very disappointed n sad coz they are one of the teams that I have expected to see in the finals….after that red card saga between Rooney n Christiano Ronaldo, I became Ronaldo’s hater…haha…sort of. Coz I think he provoke everything to happen the way it was…sigh…
Then, I was sad for Brazil too…how can they lose from France…arghhh!...
But luckily Germany vs Argentina, Germany won!!! Yeah….dunno why sort of stand for Germany for no obvious reason…
Ppl…go watch Ai Qing Mo Fa Shi…. I really recommend this series coz I like the casts and the plot….the conflict is more than just love stories….really goooooodddddd!!!!hope it will end before I go to s’pore…..so I wont miss the ending..
Okiesss signing off now…

These are the days we're living...
Then in the afternoon after I finished my guzheng lesson, my brother insisted that he wanted to go buy games since he’s super bored at home….and I had to allow him if not he’ll keep budging me abt it all day long and blaming me for not buying the right kind of game the last time I went dusit mangdu. Okay fine, so we went n was trapped in the traffic jam…super frustrating. And to make things worse, in that terrible jam, my car got scratched by a mini van which is aledy old and got scratches all over…luckily only small scratch, if not me n my brother would get all the scolding from my dad…abt buying games n blah blah blah…but in the end he still got scolded a bit….n no scolding for me…haha…I’m such a bad sister.
Then come back home, realized that the games cannot be played…or exactly, he dunno how to install it…there goes my 100000 rphs…sigh…
Today, just help my mom tidying up some old stuff from the cup board. Then found my costumes for choir when I was still in primary school… so damn cute… and I realized that my size was so damn small at that time…which makes it even cuter…haha…
There’s this one which looks like marching band kinda uniform. Red top n white pleated skirt. Then there’s another one which I wore during Seaworld choir competition. It’s yellow n purple… very flashy kind of colour. But very attractive. The skirt is super cute summore..haha…make me think back of the old times...like I'm an old ppl aledy...hahaha.
I’m craving for egg martabak again….nyum so nice…

Soccer experience…
Yup, but wad made me watch yesterday is that “It’s England playing!”. Even though I was never a soccer mania…I’m not that blind about which team is ppl’s fave…I noe, for this FWC, ppl are dying to see Brazil vs England match…full of stars they say…and I must agree…have heard of the players name very2 often, like Rooney which is like a fresh blood in England’s team, is everyone’s fave (I dunno true or not, I missed the part when he’s playing =()
Okay, basically abt yesterday nite’s match…I say…poor T&T, not because of anything but I guess they must be on great pressure since most ppl will support England to win that match. And I sort of got the feeling that even the referees take England sides (with so many yellow cards for T&T)…haha…amateur’s opinion, just anyhow say say one.
I clearly rmb the point of time when England almost…or must say almost “banget” fail to defend their goalpost. Luckily this guy named Terry if I’m not wrong kick the ball awayyyy in time …fiuhh…that was exciting.
Budden, sadly, I stopped watching at 00.30 am….coz my brother suddenly realize he needed to get some sleep coz today is his report card day…(how can he forget such an impt thing..?)haha…but anyway, at that point of the match, I sumhow got the feeling that this match is going to be like some other matches, ending up with 0-0…even though England was playing… so I oso din care n just went to sleep…
This morning I woke up n immediately looked for the newspaper…very curious abt wad’s the score last nite…To my surprise…2-0 Yay!!...England won…I’m quite happy, even though disappointed that I didn’t get to see even 1single goal sigh….
Now I noe wad it is like to be a soccer mania. U’ll get excited as long as u support some team. Just like being a VJ supporter on the soccer match day…that was very exciting!

Time really has wings….
Kinda excited to start Uni soon coz this is “supposed” to happen in my life 2 years ago…that’s if I never make the decision to come Singapore…as in, friends from my batch are aledy in their 2nd year and here I am, only about to start as a freshman…
I dunno whether that’s a good thing or bad thing...but we must “always look at the bright side of life... da dadum dada dada dadum…” In the sense, I have postponed my working life by 2 years…from wad I heard from ppl, working is never fun…never easy….So, I’m taking my time studying...getting away from tough reality...
hey...i just cut and rebond my hair again yesterday, a preparation for uni...haha..lol...yup, but I regret it now coz I've done too much rebonding that my hair are dry and sorta damaged...hiks.. budden wad's done is done...
rmb the tomato can plant that I told the last time...it already grows into small little plantlet....so cute...but I'm getting lazier to water...leave it to my maid to do that every morning huahuahau...
Recently I've been busy watching tv series (that's wad keeping me away from blogging actually). I do not have the dvds...I watch them from my cable loh...
maybe I shld highlight a few...besides my fave: ai qing mo fa shi....the magician love...
there's this one called silence (shen qing mi ma)...by vic chou/ cai cai, andy hui and the korean girl who played in the Jewel in the Palace (the one who played as Jang Geum best friend who became the King's mistress in the end)... since the korean girl can't speak chinese, in the series she played as a "bisu" girl (eh, how do u say bisu in english? verbally challenged??)
then got another one by rubby lin and wallace huo...called sound of colour or di xia tie...this one is super nice and touching though the plot is so typical tv series type... rubby lin is a blind girl in the series..
and this make me realise that they like to make the movie abt disabled ppl
yup...enuf of rambling...

My green finger
Oh ya, u can choose from many types of plants like sunflowers, marigold, paprika, cherry tomato, mimosa (putri malu) and the most special one is the one that has printed message appearing when it grows out (such as “I love U”). U ask me how…according to my cousin’s explanation, that seed has been marked or carved with the words on the cotyledons before they are buried inside the can n all the nutrients. Then, referring back to my bio knowledge, there is such thing as hypercotyl (is this correct? Help me my bio fellows…this is the result of not touching any text book for 6 months)… basically wad I wanna say is that the cotyledons grow out of the soil and above the ground as a result of the growth of radicle (the root). And so, after a few weeks u can see that message. Budden, after that cotyledons drop, u got just a normal green plant without anything interesting to see.
Obviously I didn’t buy the magic “I love U” bean. Wad I bought was the cherry tomato n marigold flower. Yoohoo…so excited! Can’t wait to see those bloom n make fruits before I leave for sg…which is in ard 1 month time…hiks…time really flies.
On a totally different subject, now I’m again in deep dilemma coz my dad ask me to consider Sembcop sc’s again coz my uncle convinced him that it’s no harm taking it and just pay up if later I dun wanna work for 6 yrs to serve the bond. Yes, I agree that their offer was very attractive (except the 6 yrs bond) coz I’ very used to not thinking abt financial matter throughout my 4 yrs stay in sg becoz of the allowance plus top up from mom n dad. Budden, I’m still thinking, will I be “marked” as irresponsible or anything on the negative side when I decide not to work instead n just pay?…haiz…budden, actually I dun mind taking or not taking sc’s. For me, it’s really my parents’ decision of wanting to save money or spend it on me, remembering that I still got one younger brother….bleh…

Visitors from Medan
Went to Ex with pat on Thursday, end up watching Xmen 3 (paying Rp. 60000, which is over-priced, but I dun regret it cos the movie was good!) and oso played bowling while waiting for the movie….(this one I quite regret coz only cause my arm aching….haha). Oh, I oso unexpectedly bumped into my cousin there….so surprising….
The next day was the “planned trip” with dwee n lita n pat. We went TA…typical hang out place of the youngs…but 1st, my task was to fetch Lita from her relatives’ house at Lebak Bulus which I dunno where (as usual)…n quite far from my place. But, luckily, we managed to find her…and we headed directly to TA.
To our surprise…the cinema aledy had lotsa ppl queueing up be4 it is even open…then we realised it was “Harpitnas-Hari Kejepit National” which means that day was between hols n weekends, so ppl just take the initiative to extend their hols….so, we waited till the cinema was open then started queueing up. Budden got other problem….Lita watched da vinci code in sg aledy….but the rest wanna watch…end up Lita watching da vinci code twice…paiseh to her lah, she’s supposed to be the guest n all…
Eat sushi n play arcade, that’s the other things that we did at TA…normal stuff ppl will do in mall…
That nite, lita stayed in my house to safe the trouble of fetching her from lebak bulus…and that nite we played games till 2 am….haha…n wake up late the next morning…which is a Sat…n we planned to go Dufan (jkt’s theme park). FYI, I’ve never stepped into Dufan for ages…literally…coz last time got nobody to with….n even the last time I went was still so young. So, dun even dare trying all the games. Now that I’m OLDER…. should have the guts lah….
Honestly, wad makes Dufan trip so long…the queue…it’s been like that forever. For 1 game, need to queue 15-30 mins….which was super tiring esp when there’s this rude little boy, only wearing his undies, running around. He was queuing right behind me n he’s like super impatient….He even pushed n stepped on me, shouting at me to move forward the queue when obviously it is not moving. Maybe u may say, “hey, he’s just a kid wad??” U try urself with that kind of kid lah…ruin my day only. But luckily in the end his dad stopped him…sigh…
The most thrilling game I tried was the boat thing (called kora2 here)…usually in sg, that boat game only makes u wanna puke coz it’s not high enuf. But this one, even when I sat near the middle u can feel that the boat was almost vertical…making that tingling sensation inside u….so just shout it out…AAAAAAAAarrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhhhhh!!!!
Oh ya, got this one game which really makes u realise that centripetal (or centrifugal??) force is really happening. (sorry to ppl who dun take phy…hahah). Becoz u just got spinned n spinned in dunno wad direction in super duper fast speed…that the person sitting on the outer side (which was Pat), will become slimmer as a result of excessive squeezing n pushing from her other 2 friends (Lita n me loh!)…esp, if u got handphone in the pocket…haha…I laughed so much during that ride till my stomach ache…
Got some more games that I think will be too long if I describe here….but overall this Dufan trip is super fun coz I haven’t been there n tried those stuff for sum time…too bad it’s only 3 of us. Not rame enuf actually….the more the merrier….
When will this kind of trip happen again? Feel like going to Ancol…the wet place…

I really enjoy this channel coz Japanese ppl do a lot of interesting stuff...they got loads of funny competitions. like the one that i watched this morning was pull up competition (not the incline-girl type)....when I was in sg, seeing all the guys in vj did pull ups...I thought max no. of pull ups that ppl can do is ard 10 plus....but guess wad I saw on tv today....I guy age 20 can do up to 53....and previously, granpa granpa can oso do pull ups and some even can reach ard 10....amazing rite...
Oh yah, today I went to cut my hair....as usual, I cut my hair before it is long...so actually I never have long hair before...the longest was only ard shoulder length plus abit.... Actually I want my hair to be long, but cannot stand it when the curl all comes out and it looks all messy....so just cut cut cut.....haha
oh yah, tml pat's coming, lita's aledy here...so friday we can all go out together....with oso dwee of course....

DInner dash
haiz, i think these games are really torturing my eyes...but why am I still surrender to the temptation...
but there's this one game, called insaniquarium, which makes u see fishes instead of stars...coz when we play until higher level, ur monitor is full full full of fish...When I stopped playing it, I realise that I continue seeing fish even after I quit the game n worse, I stiil see fish as I'm reading my email...
Just now I got a call from my guzheng "sch", they said tml got open house n we are supposed to perform (hiks no holz)...dunno wad kinda performance will it be...but i'm not sure that I'm well prepared for that....haiya..dun care, just play!
The weather has been crazy these few days (maybe global warming is taking effect)....In the afternoon, it's hot like hell (I've isolated myself inside aircon room while playing games)....then at nite or evening it will rain....with thunder and lightning. so scary....who says thunder n lighning are cool????

mood swing
besides my life has been so monotonous... I wanna go out n play or shop but again I dun wanna trouble my dad if I go out (i need his driver to drive me around...but my dad oso need driver...sigh)...then, I oso have to start getting used to saving money...Most prob not taking sch's if I dun get ASEAN sch's... so need to save money for this n that....ah pusing! come to think of it...it was so good last time when MOE gave us allowance, mom n dad only needed to top up a bit.... but the future may not be that easy...
I was chosen to play guzheng for the mini CO in my music sch, they'r going to have a performance soon, I still dunno exactly when is it...the problem is, I'm chosen to play Guzheng 1 which only have 2 ppl. If the performance is after July, I may not have the chance to perform oso...but dun dare to tell my teacher coz she's been training me hard...sigh...how?

Monday Blue...
I wonder why Monday blues still hit me though I’m still trapped in this unproductive break. This morning, I woke up thinking…”Ow, Monday again, sucky TV shows…”
Dun blame me for always having thoughts for TV shows only, coz that’s how I live my live now, surrounded by TV n internet.
Talking abt internet, it is the other thing that cause my moday blues…maybe not really Monday blues… I tried to apply for accommodation in NUS…so I filled up the online form which is quite long (coz must specify abt CCA n all that stuff all over again). U noe wad, to get that done, I need to fill that form 4 times. Not NUS fault…it’s my stupid internet fault. So slow n keep on disconnecting… Now I can really memorise the content of my CCA record…bleh…
Watched the Oprah show yesterday (oh…u see, TV shows again), the show was featuring ppl who are taking challenges to take the leap out of their usual life…learn to be a new person, introduced to a new environment. Like this women who’s been working in the field all her life, who does not bother abt how she looks n all. Then suddenly, she’s given the challenge to learn to become a high class socialites… there are other similar stories too…basically all were given the CHANCE to experience another aspect of life…
If u are given that kind of chance or challenge, wad would u try to be?
For me, I’ve always got this dream in mind…there are lots of things that I really want to try to be…”a fashion designer, a model or an athlete”… Those fields are quite a great leap from my current path. I’ve always been in science path all this while, taking triple scince in JC, now taking Chem. eng in Uni… so, it must be a really great challenge to persue those fields I mentioned… haiz…but those are just dreams… and it seems that I’ve done nothing to pursue those dreams… Let them remain dreams…
(btw, for those of u reading, I want to know, wad kind of fields would u try if u are given this kind of “leaping” chance?? Just out of curiousity)
Okay, stop daydreaming girl!

The Rat Race
This is how this thought arises: I was sitting on the couch (fortunately), watching TV at ard 10 pm at nite...when suddenly a black shadow of sumthing which I didn’t see clearly dashing past at the side…Although, I didn’t see wad’s that, my trained instinct tell me that it’s a RAT!...omg, I nv saw rats inside my house before…(I’ve seen them on the road side which I dun care abt of course). Then the excitement began as everybody in my house (except me…who is so frightened aledy) trying to get rid of, catch, kill or do sumthing to it so it won’t start breeding inside my house… I must say that the rat was FAST! Which made it hard to catch…Meanwhile, I was climbing high on the desk and sit up there with my legs folded up, away from the floor… To my horror, that rat ran and hid inside my keyboard (as in the musical instrument). It got in thru’ the hole near the pedal… So now, there’s no other way out for the mouse rat, it is literally trapped inside my precious keyboard…hiks…
But not too worry, in the end the rat got out lah…My dad n my bro carried that keyboard outside n dismantled the wooden board behind the keyboard n just let the rat ran away as far as possible from my house…shoooo…
That’s the end of the story abt rat hunting (together with the screaming n shouting – dunno wad the neighbours thougt happened in my house) in my house. Honestly, I’m super scared of all kind of pests n insects, especially cockroach…so disguting n smelly, even worse the ones which can fly…(reminds me of the cockroach invasion in vhall after they sprayed the insecticide…that was the worse nitemare ever…)
I watched Lativi Thomas cup semifinal yesterday. Feel so sad coz Indo team was trashed by China. Lindan beat Taufik Hidayat, Luluk/ Alvent lost to China couple which their names I can’t rmb in a very close fight, Sony D K lost to Bao Chun Lai in (again) a very close fight…arghhhh!
My future is somewad decided now. I’m going NUS Chem Eng n ignoring the interview invitation from NTU for CN Yang scholarship becoz I think too many choices will make me go crazy soon. Just have to settle on one thing and keep focus! Yay! For the accommodation, I’m still considering Kend Ridge as my first choice (heard that it’s newer)…but I hope I can get use to the common bathroom- have been to used to private bathroom… have to learn to step out of my comfort zone

The RojAk PosT
2 days ago, I was watching an MTV show called MTV gokil (btw, can anybody tell me wad’s the meaning of gokil, I just got the rough idea not really sure though…feel so outdated)…it’s similar to PUNK’D. Yup, but I think this MTV gokil only can be watched from Indo…Basically, the part that I watched was the one where 2 crews of the show wanna “PUNK’D” the kids who usually offer their services around the 3-in-1 hour on the road for those who got not enuf ppl on their car….so in order to use the 3-in-1 route without being caught by the traffic police, sum ppl will take this kids in their car…Yup, again, this kind of service can only be found in Indo (specifically JKT), if u can call that a service… Back to the show, the 2 crews took a kid from the side of a road and they pretend to be some insane n crazy ppl running away from an asylum. The driver keeps banging on the steering wheel while the other one keeps talking in weird manner…
Then, on their “fake” radio which they purposely let the kid hears got this kind of news “2 insane ppl had run away from an asylum and if u see any of them on the road, pls report immediately, coz they are very dangerous”….while the 2 crews keep acting weird and insane…One the cont of seconds after listening to that news, that kid ask them to let him off the car and in the end, he ran out of the car by himself…with his frightened face.
Haha I was like laughing so loud when I saw that…
Thomas n Uber cup is ongoing…I really wish I’m in Japan now and sitting in the stadium n watching the badminton matches, just like wad we did last year in Singapore (Aviva Singapore Open)…As from wad I read from the newspaper, Indo’s player are not so strong due to some injuries of the players…sigh
I’m currently reading Angels n Demons which I borrowed from dwee…I must say I really enjoy Dan brown books…so far I’ve read Da vinci code (which will be in the cinema soon …yay!), digital fortress en now in the middle of Angels n Demons…I really think his books are really great not just because of the story plot itself but really because of the facts n especially abt code breaking, so smart…and that’s why I love detective stories too, finding evidences, code breaking, turning ur brain…so fascinating…somewhat an adrenaline rush experience for me…
Sigh, these few days got the labour day demonstration everywhere, including Jakarta which is the hotspot… Hope there won’t be any serious clashes or anything of that sort.
Oh yah, I’ve been accepted by both NUS n NTU chem. eng…yay!!I so so happy but at the same time scared….
These are the “five on five” questions which I think I should respond to as I was tagged by Alice…(must admit that the questions are quite lame, though suitable for “wu liau” ppl like me)
1. Five minutes to yourself: how would u spend them ideally?
Erh, five minutes is a bit too short...now I got all the time in the world (till uni really starts =<) so why think abt 5 minutes...okay, if u insist, I would spent that 5 minutes away from Indo in some nice holiday place, maybe shopping or eating, or simply sitting down and enjoy the scenery (arghh, u see 5 mins is too short, can't make up my mind)...
2. Five bucks to spend right now: how would u spend it?
waitttt... wad buck is it? if it's Sing dlr, then i'll spend it for food, if it's US dlr, ohhh I'll still spend it for food, but maybe nicer one...haha...okay specifically: anything but western food..., indo food or jap food would be best!
3. Five items in your house u could part with, right now, that u hadn't thought of aledy?
Actually I'm not a sentimental person who can't part with things, so any random things that u see in my house are partable (got such word or not??)... Since I've left my house for 4 years before, parting is not that hard..
4. Five items u absolutely, positively could never part in your house?
Okay...maybe it's my pillow n my blanket....I cannot get use to using other ppl's pillow n blanket. that's 2, then maybe for now it's my comp n remote control (erhm, means the TV oso lah, but wad i usually hold is the remote) those are my sources of entertainment...Handphone has been a secondary possesion now since I got nobody to contact unless for urgent needs...omg, i need one more thing...okay, maybe it's my pencil...I use it a lot these days, to write my chinese characters, to do some ugly sketches of clothes (designing, in the better term, but I believe my sketches are so lousy n childish...hehe)
5. Five words u love?
This is kinda hard, lemme think first..."yup" is one, i think lots of it are scattered around my blog hehe... "lah"/"leh"/"meh", bad influence from Singlish. and maybe "haha", often use that when chatting...all my words are unimpt, do u think so??
okay....byezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Read Kompas-Kehidupan Sunday
The title of that article was ”Selamat berpisah Film Serial Hollywod” which can be translated as “Good Bye Hollywood Series”….The first Line that followed sounds sumthing like this, “Gradually, the Hollywood TV Series begin to disappear because they are less favoured compared to the Local programmes…” Singggg….
That sentence alone makes me frown and read in such a disbelief…How can u actually compare Indonesian Sinetron like Tersanjung, etc etc (I dun actually noe a lot of titles coz I’m just lack in interest in them) to US TV Series like Desperate Housewives, Lost and The OC..?? From the title only, u can guess which will sell better, rite??
The theme of Indonesian Sinetrons never deviate from these: teenage life story (gangs n clique, bimbo girls n a girl that’s always bullied, and most of the time involves stupid love story --> I like love story, I just hate how they are presented in Sinetron…yukk!), weird creatures, ghost, witches, genie, etc (with all the ugly costumes, really sickening!) and comedy. Basically that’s all. Can’t they find some interesting theme and make it into a good show before start comparing with US…and maybe Taiwan, Japan n Korea?
Another thing that was raised in the article was that American Idol which absorbs millions of spectators all around the world is said to get poor rating among Indonesian viewers… Hey, before saying this, shouldn’t they evaluate first…? FYI, here, American Idol is shown at 11 pm at nite…That’s the starting time….If we include the result show…dunno wad time it will end… I’m one of the Idol shows fan, including American Idol of course. But the fact is I’m deprived of such shows since I came back to Indo due to the unreasonable showing time. (Okay maybe my family sleep rather early, like ard 11, but still…). This is not just for American Idol, coz other US series like Despo Housewives n CSI are also shown ard the same time. Maybe for the latter 2 series, it’s understandably due to censorship n stuff, but wad abt American Idol, anything to censor??NO!
Besides, I’m sure that the TV company have bought those shows at quite a high price, so, why don’t they show it at the prime time 1700-2100…I’m sure it will worth more of their money. Some ppl who have cable TV will surely turn away from our local channels to the cable TV for these US shows due the more reasonable showing time and that explains everything…
One more thing that makes that article unacceptable for me is… they mention that Friends series….(for Friends fans, myself included, prepare urself) are unsuitable here due to the cultural difference, the idea of ppl of diff gender staying together cannot be accepted here… HELLO! Excuse me…That’s called crapping up an excuse to support ur view (so artificial -->just like wad the GP tutors always say). Maybe they should try doing a survey before writing that down…
But at least that article still mentions that ASIAN shows are more popular…of course, Japan, Korea n Taiwanese shows are still popular…because they are mostly good.
I noe I sound v one-sided, but who cares, this is not a GP essay, this is my blog… I just wanna voice my disagreement…Give me my Hollywood series!!

After I’m back…
After coming back from Medan, I feel that I really love traveling. Yesterday I was going thru’ the pictures that I took when I went to China n Medan. I think there are lots of new stuff that u’ll see when u travel. A dream of mine is to travel more…Europe, US, Aussie, Korea, Japan. But money is still hard to earn, shld not waste it just like that. So maybe next time when I’ve work n get a pay myself, then can plan to go wherever I want. Haha
Oh yah, last wed, me alice n dwee went to TA (Taman Angrek). When I was in Junior high sch, my sch ppl used to call this mall the temple of young ppl. Why? Because teenagers like to go there every weekends, to hang out n stuff lah.
Okay, back to the main pt. The outing was sum kind of farewell for Alice who is going to Aussie…(She’s there aledy now). Our kind of outing was more of sitting down, eating n talk all the way. Maybe after we came back from sg, shopping is not so tempting anymore…hehe
We (alice n me) also helped dwee wif some of her dentistry interview questions. Wish her all the best of luck. I myself had bad experience abt interview that I’m rather scared n reluctant to go for another interview. Maybe that’s becoz I’m scared of rejection. The last time was Harmoc n Jap club Exco interview. The Jap club one was okay, but for the Harmoc one, I think that I’ve gone there just to waste time n embarrassed my self. I really screwed up that time. I was not really upset for not getting in the Exco. The problem is, I did not agree with how the interview was conducted. I had no power to change anything at all coz maybe that was a so called “tradition”. That interview sort of making me traumatic n I have rather negative impression abt all kind of interview now.
Sigh…wad’s in the past, just let it be in the past. Anyway, that happenened so long time ago….
Mall outing
Me, Lita n Pat ate at Nelayan restaurant which is this place where u can eat Dim sum, nyum! My favourite…hehe after that we went to this place called Stinger if I’m not wrong, sumthing like Timezone where u play all the arcade. Now I noe why Arcade is so dangerous. U can spend large sum of money for those games. Especially the one that tempt u with more coins to get…hahah. In the end, the owner of the place still get all the money coz u can’t refund the coins anyway. Haha.
We all got so addicted by this game where u put in coins to get more coins (that if ur luck is good). The problem is, once u get lots n lots of coins, u feel like u have so much, so u’ll just spend it in the same game n try ur luck again. Ha ha! This is where human weakness is shown. U’ll end up spending all the coins that u’ve earned before in the same stupid game that u planned to use for other games. Haha. But actually that’s the fun.
It’s quite embarrassing when the 3 of us play…coz other ppl play calmly…at least they dun get so excited, bang the machine n shout so loud when they win. Yup, that’s wad we did…embarrassing huh? But dun care lah, the other ppl dun recognize us wad…
Yup, too bad our outing was short… would like to play with them again….
Another post abt Medan...
After the super tiring trip to my dad’s “kampong”, the next day, again, I have to wake up at 5.30 pm…super early rite?? This is becoz my uncle wanted to take us to this very nice place that I’ve heard of since I was in Primary sch….
Typical IPS (Geography) question:
Wad is the largest lake in Indonesia…Answer: Lake Toba…
Okay…this is just common knowledge which I think most studentsin Indo will know…but wad most of them dunno is how beautiful that place is…
I won’t elaborate abt the long way from Medan to this place called Parapat…usually ppl pronounce it as Prapat…haha yup, this is like one part of the land ard Toba Lake…
Tell u wad, the scenery there was like a few times more beautiful than other similar place that I’ve been to, like Guilin in China which I went to end of 2004 if I’m not wrong. If anyone who has gone to Guilin and say that that place is nice, wait till u come to Lake Toba…hehe did I sound like I’m promoting, but really, Medan ppl are so fortunate coz it’s nearer..
At this place u can see Mountain and Lake, which means that the lake is surrounded by mountain. It’s rather hard to explain n elaborate by words coz u have to see it urself.
It’s really a pity that such a beautiful beautiful place seems to be rather forgotten and abandoned after the 1998 riot (that’s wad I heard from the ppl there).
We stayed in a hotel called Niagara which was actually quite far from the Lake side. So didn’t really have much chance to play with water. But it was a really nice n clean hotel and wad special was that the view from the hotel is much better than the other hotels nearer to the lake coz our hotel was at higher ground so u can see all, basically.
I really wanted to try that water scooter or something like that, u noe, the one in the movie Hitch if u noe wad I mean…but my mom said that actually it’s not as easy to drive that thing as u see it. Maybe quite true lah, I dun even noe how to drive car, then my swimming is still damn lousy. Haha…so many excuses but basically just dun have the gut to try lah. I wish I could really, looks like damn fun.
Beside sight seeing, I oso got my own “Biology lesson” on the field. Yup, had the chance to see plants that city dweller like me nv see before. Haha I sounds so Kampungan rite? But I guess I learned sum stuff that we won’t get from textbook only.
Yup, after spending one day n one nite at Parapat, we went back to Medan via Brastagi. This is like the Puncak of Medan ppl. Puncak is where jkt ppl would go during weekends or holidays. While for Medan ppl, Brastagi is oso that kind of place.
Then at brastagi, went to the Fruit Market. Too bad it was raining. So we didn’t spend much time there and that’s the end of the trip and I was on the way back to Medan.
Fiuhh….wad along post. Continue next time
Real holiday
So, It’s time that I write abt Medan. I haven’t been to Medan for so so many years, though many of my relatives live there. So, I’ve really faint idea of what Medan was really like before my trip. The main purpose of me going to Medan, is coz my dad wanted to take me to his “Kampong”, where he grew up…so as to speak. And of course to visit my grandfather’s graveyard…
My grandfather’s grave is not exactly at Medan. And I must say it’s quite far from Medan and we had to travel (BY CAR) for ard 6-7 hours if I’m not wrong. Yup, we set off at 5.30 (that’s like so damn early in the morning, my prime sleeping hour..hiks). So, it looks like 10 o’clock at nite when we set off from my granma’s house. Then, I continued sleeping in the car for 2 hrs or more I think….haha…
But it’s okay, I didn’t really miss anything v interesting during that 2 hrs….When I woke up, wad I saw along the way was all the plam oil plantation and rubber tree (pohon karet I mean, did I use the rite term??) Yup, it’s really amazing how neat the rubber trees were planted. I really looked like a troop of soldiers lining up. But I guess if u really get in there U’ll get lost inside coz it’s too neat and all the trees looked the same.
I must say this trip was like a back to nature trip with all these natural scenery, I rarely had a chance to see in Jakarta.
Basically after we reached there, we went to the grave then went to this “old neighbour” of my dad’s family last time. They invited us to their house to eat. Eat so much till my stomach got bloated…
After that return to Medan on the same day….taking the same road back….it’s actually a damn tiring day coz the road is quite small but smooth…The problem is, the road is just enuf for 2 vehicles. The 2 lanes are for 2 different direction. That’s not so much of a problem if every car can move with the same speed. I mean, there are loads of truck (really big n bulky truck) carrying stuff like the palm oil seed, wood, and wadever else, including Ace hardware store truck….haha… So, small cars like ours obviously wanted to overtake them coz the trucks are super slow…like turtle…budden when u want to overtake using the other lane, watch out for the giant trucks on the other side…fiuh, luckily our driver very pro….I’m too tired to look out myself (or actually too scared) so I just sleep along the way back….wad a tiring day….I reach Medan with flat butt and stiff body due to long hours of sitting in the car….
That nite when we reached Medan, my gandma cooked some food and invited all her sons daughter, grandsons, granddaughter (including me of course)….ok maybe not all coz not everybody is in Medan lah. Yah, but it’s still a rare acassion for so many of us to gather (exactly squeeze) in that small house. Luckily got enuf chairs and plates for us all to dine together. Wad a rare occasion for me was to meet all my “long time never see” cousins. They all grew up to be quite different from the last time I met them which was dunno how many years ago….haha. Wad a big family!
Okay, that’s the end of my post for now. But dun think that that’s the end of my trip in Medan… read the next post to find out….

My badminton training....love it!
A typical sat training started at ard 9 o'clock...plus plus....due to late comers and other lazy reason...
So I always do my stretching for awhile...twist here twist there, stretch leg stretch hand, squat left squat right...haha now i noe how impt it is to stretch if u dun wanna get muscle ache after the training...
Ok, so after the stretching part, here comes the intense physical training which i dread a lot...so damn tiring... Actually from the whole training, it's the physical training that is the toughest....it's mostly to train leg...got sprint on the spot, "angkat paha" or lifting thigh,"lompat kijang" (dunno wad is this called in english..), "lompat bangku" (benches arranged parallelly with some spaces in between and we must jump across the benches back and forth --> this is damn hard, I still cannot do it) ...etc etc...thanks to these series of training my legs are much more muscular than before...
Then after that, we got "shadow"... the names may be rather funny (but i'm just stating wad the others usually say) which means that u hold the racket and move to the direction which the coach says....for example..."kanan depan" or right front....so u must take ur fastest step there...and so on and so forth....btw, no shuttle cock invlove yet...
The whole thing from physical training till shadow is like ard 1/2 an hour aledy and by this time, my shirt will be totally wet aledy, like just coming out of the washing machine or worse....
So the next part will be the real training or drilling. Usually the coach will gather ard 12 sets of 20 shuttlecocks per person and he will hit to wadever direction that he wants and I must go and hit back obviously... Here I discover that I've not been doing the right thing for the past 19 years of my life...(ok, maybe not that extreme lah) but basically I realised that my holding of racket is wrong, my foot steps are wrong and those are the basics...Yup, but I'm improving slowly I hope...hehe...
Now I noe that every time u hit a ball, let's say netting on the right or left side (it doesn't matter), I have to put my right foot in front (coz I'm a right hander) and the opposite is true otherwise...
Now the problem that i have now is I still dunno how to smash, lop and do backhand properly...hueeekkksss....So u may ask, "wad r u doing then?" the answer is: I dunno...haha...
But it's ok, I'm still in the early process of learning.
The first few practises when I was asked to play wif a kid maybe ard 9 to 12 yrs old or even younger... This is like damn embarrasing lah. I'm like twice their height, my legs and hands maybe longer than theirs but, a big BUT... they can cover more grounds faster and hit the cock with maybe like triple my strength...omigosh...i'm like beaten so easily, like killing an ants I must say. Yes, I was damn embarrased at first but I realise that the amount of training i've been thru' now is nothing compared to them. They train like everyday including sat...and 2 times a day....They are the national athletes to be...badminton is their mowl of rice, their cup of tea. So u can imagine how good they are by the time they are my age... The thursday grp i'm with is the 9-14 yrs grp while the Saturday grp are those who are ready to be fished to the National team any time...Just like Simon Santoso. He was from the club I'm training in oso...I saw him came back once. He is just one year older than me I think... not that tall but not bad looking oso...
And the may whole training ends at ard 11 plus plus with 30 sit ups and 20 back ups...fiuhhh....by that time I've finished almost 2 bottles of water and I'm totally drained but satisfied
okiess...after such a long story I think I should end here...
and I'm going medan tml...Yay!!!

Songs that I'm looking for...
- Jay Chou's ...the OST for Fearless...
- Jay chou's Fa ru xue...dunno whether I've spelled them correctly or not...
- JJ Lin...the new album... There are some songs that are preety nice too....Okay, maybe I should comment more on this artist... First time I saw his album cover.."the one with him having the silverish tear drop thingy..." My first reaction was...YUCK...! wad kind of gut would like that kind of cover...I even thought that he was Rain (due to the tear drop thingy lah). Budden, I must say that my impression really changes 180 degree after I heard him sing...WOW!! his voice is really really super nice. He even wrote his own songs i think. I think that his slower songs are much nicer than the fast one, cos they really showcase his angelic voice.... I remember there is one music video of JJ which is quite cool....Too bad I dunno the title, coz u noe, I can't read uch in Chinese. Basically, in the video, JJ is singing n playing piano amongst all the Chinese warriors n their horses on war. I think it's quite special.
- The next of course is Wang Lee Hom. I noe that he is legendary...doesnt mean that he's old, but means that his name is aledy very well-known in chinese music. Again, I'm the late comer. Only since i've been watching Taiwanese channels that I noe that his music is very easy listening. Especially wif the R&B style that he has which I like the most. Thumbs up for his voice too... Ow ya...a plus point is that he's a American Chinese or sumthing like that. So, when he raps in English, it doesn't sound awkward or funny. I fact, they are goooddd...
Ok, up to this point, u may be wandering why I keep listening to chinese songs. Previously, I was always into western songs and hated chinese songs. But exposure opens my eyes.... I have less source of english songs now. though I could still get them from radios or MTV, but I'm just not into it now...
Nevertheless, I' really crazy abt Neri Per Caso now...haha Am I so old-fashioned??but I dun care. They are the best Acapella grp i've heard. I've been listening to their songs over and over again....Just never get bored over them. Their harmonisation is CRAZY!!.... and particularly the bass singer, I never knew that ppl with such a low voice can sound so so good and I think the bass is the key here... Thanks to my bass speaker at home, I can enjoy the superb bass...
Okay, I've got nothing more to talk abt.
"Music makes me loose control"

Just pouring it out...
okay, maybe I should forget all those unhappy feelings behind...coz for the past few days I've been feeling uncomfortable and I juz couldnt concentrate on doing stuff...Ireally dunno how to explain. It feels like having so much thought going on inside ur head but dun really noe exactly wad is it...sumtimes it's discontentment, sometimes it's juz some random feelings...haiz...so abstract yet so real...someone, help me!!!arghhh!
Another thing is, I'm bored with my blog layout...I'm thinking of creating one myself, but how arh? actually I havent had any experience doing this kind of thing before....but I aledy haf some ideas in mind...I really really hope that it'll work...hopefully... maybe I've put down or realised those ideas n thoughts my mind won't be so crammed anymore...yepp...

The most unforgettable 1 week or more... Part II
this is a continuation from the previous post...
Yup yup abt my short trip to sg again...1 week plus is damns short..especially when u get to have fun and shop a lot...I dunno why evrything in sg looks so tempting to buy...Luckily I still got some self control. haha so proud of myself...
Budden must admit that I spent some on tinkerbell sandals, S&K top, minibits necklace, books: Narnia n Digital Fortress.... erhm, maye got summore but I could not remember huaaaa Am I a shopaholic...??? Honestly, it's fun to be shopaholic when U got all the money in the world...bleh....wad a materialistic person I am...
Haha...but apart from shopping, I think I oso spent a lot on food...Swensen 3 times...for the ice creams of course...It's hard to get such a nice ice cream in Jakarta...maybe not say hard lah, budden Swensen is very tempting, just like shopping hehe.. Then 2 times of Sushi, one at Sakae Suntec wif S12 gals..fang, fish, jas n vd! U noe how much a sacrifice we (me n vd) had to have that sushi meal, walk all the way from citihall mrt all the way thru' Citilink and Suntec...and after the whole day of walking...fiuh...so glad we still made it...late though. But good food n good company, a little sacrifice was all worth it...Miss u gals a lot...so glad we could catch up that day...
Oh yah...the second sushi dinner was at Cine Suki....that was after skipping the lunch due to NUS application with YC, her cousin, Dodo, Lita n Dwee... So paiseh got a treat from her cousin even though we only met her for the first time....We could even had dessert after that, at Xi Liu Shan...A famous dessert shop from Hongkong which I missed so much. But it's so dissapointing that they dun haf the mango ice cream n mango pudding...hiks...That's actually wad I was craving for...so sad...But not bad lah, coz on that day we wandered around orchard till quite late at nite, plus sending yc off to mrt station...Poor thing she stayed so far at simei...but glad that she would always come so far to orchard to meet us...sorry arh yc...make u travel so far...
S'pore is such a good place for tourist really...good transport, so convenient, so clean...cheap accomodation readily available at Lucky Plaza apt...hehe...I reccomend this if u are on budget or if u want to stay for long...not bad lah, clean n comfy bed, toilet n got small tv...can watch America's next top model, the Apprentice n American Idol on Channel 5...haha that's wad we did there...plus the sleepless nite of bridge games, it's so addictive that one is never enuf...hahaha... but maybe we were just making use of our time as maximum as possible...u noe, when we all return to our homes, we got nobody to play with. sigh...that's wad happen now...miss u ppl so much n of course n the shopping n bridge games...
The fun of that whole week was not enuf just for one post...will keep that in memory...huaaaaa....looking forward to another trip together...but when will it happen?

The most unforgettable 1 week...or more PART 1
Ok, lets start from the result, I dun mean to "pamer" or boast...but I'm very very grateful I got 4As, B3 for GP(wow...never had that before), and M-M for both S papers...yay!! (considering that I never put in significant effort for that...it was very unexpected....)
but I must really congratulate Alice, ...(sorry lice, make u famous a bit....but u should be proud lah!)....yes, the reason is,...her result is really really outstanding....4As, A1 for GP (I dun even dare to dream abt this...wow!) and of course 2 distinctions for S papers....kurang apalagi...hebat hebat...!!! I must also say well done to my other friends who got 4As and 3 As...It feels great not just because I got good grades, but most imptly, most of my friends also got good grades, so, evrybody can celebrate together without feeling guilty....yay..!!!
Maybe I should tell u abt the experience of waiting for the result...haha...that was the most thrilling 5-10 minutes of my life...Okay, so they set up a board near the GO and they put up all the names for ppl who got 3 and 4 As...So, when me n my friends arrived at sch that afternoon, we aledy saw so so so many J3s crowding ard the board...omigod..."should I go n look??" that's wad I thought... but in the end, my gut feeling tell me to walk there...
So, I started searching from the 3 As name list....o ow...dun have! So I moved to the 4 As list... When I was still searching, most of my friends aledy noe wad they got...(Yep, they got 4As...)..."huhuhu mammy, where's my name?"....I can really feel my feet feeling so cold due to my nervousness. Then, suddenly, my friend called me.."Cindy! Ur name is here....!" and yes!! I saw it...fiuhhhh..4As and mission accomplished...the reason I'm studying for these 2 years has been reached...and that closed the curtain for my JC life...Maybe next time I'll look back and say..."Wad an exciting 2 years...so stress but yet so much fun..."
After the principal talked a bit...which I think most ppl didnt really listen due to anxiety...then Mrs yik gave us our result slip and year book...
Now, when I flip open the year book, I see so many familiar faces from VJ which I may not noe, but I'm sure they are the ppl who made VJ so fun a school...and then some of the pictures of past events are just making me missing school life so much...VJ rox!
hope uni life will be as fun...

New exciting series....I really recommend..!
The story so far is like this…
3 Famous Hairstylist called Artz (Ming Dao), Richie (Shao Wei), and Fernando (Jacky) just open a hair salon called Neo-Image. Artz has this all white look with his hair that seems to be blown by wind all the time…wuuussshh… While Richie has a gangster background and he’s also good in soccer…(He can defeat bad guys using soccer ball..with all the salto n other stunts…)Ã this is not surprising since Shao Wei was Taiwan national soccer player…Lastly, Fernando, has a playboy look and of course very extraaaa in fashion…
Okay, the news of this salon’s opening is so big that it appears in the newspaper…
Then, there’s this small n old barbershop nearby (or is it juz opposite) this new salon…owned by Lao Bei... which means “old” Bei…and his daughter Xiao Bei… or “small” Bei.. I can’t rmb the name of the salon coz it’s quite long and it’s in Chinese..(sorry lah, my chinese ability quite limited)…Xiao Bei(Qiao2 from Sweety), who learns her hairstyling technique from her dad, is very worried coz their customers have been decreasing in number over the years and worse, now they have new competitors nearby…
But surprisingly, they got a call from this hairstyling competition organizer who invites them to compete in a hairstyling competition against a Frenchman… For Xiao Bei, this is like gold falling from the sky, coz they are unknown and most imptly, they are still beginners in hairstyling…How is it possible to compete with a famous Frenchman…
So, Xiao Bei decided to take a shot by bringing with her her assistant which is also her gud fren on the competition day…
Actually, the organizer purposely invite Xiao Bei, knowing that she is lousy so that the Frenchman can easily win… basically the organizer has been bribed to do so…
Knowing abt that, sum ministry of Foreign affairs ppl come to Artz to plead for help…the 3 hairstylist must come to the competition to safe the country’s face by winning the competition…(This part is rather far-fetched rite?) And they agreed…
Meanwhile at the competition, Xiao Bei is aledy very nervous becoz she juz dunno wad to do with the model’s hair…After long aconsideration…which gives no result… She decide to juz anyhow cut…haha…(sorry abt my rotten English)
When She juz abt to do the first cut, TADAAAA! Artz n frenz come…and shouted “U Should not cut!!”… but I think Xiao Bei’s reflex a bit slow or wad… She still cut it…
So, Artz and frenz took over Xiao Bei in the competition while Xiao Bei waited in relief down the stage…Of course, without any surprise Artz and frenz win…just as we all expected…
Xiao Bei go back home but she didn’t dare to tell her dad that she didn’t even take part in the competition… so, she lied…
One of Xiao Bei’s childhood fren called Chou Mei (sounds like ugly sister…which is quite true coz she look damn toot wif bob hairstyle and thick specs) has been having her haircut in Xiao Bei’s salon since dunno when…but when she heard abt the new Neo-Image…she begs Xiao Bei to allow her to go there…At first Xiao Bei refuses of course…but after begging n begging…Chou Mei went to the Salon…
Xiao Bei decided to go and investigate how was the salon like and who is the hairsylist… To Xiao Bei’s shock, ppl are queuing up like crazy outside the salon…even under the hot sun…Then, when she take a peek into the salon…huaaaa…she saw Artz…then she is damn angry….
I think I’m not very good with story telling…but that’s roughly how the story goes for the first episode... I shall continue wif the 2nd episode next time coz this one is long enuf…but I think the 2nd episode is funnier than the first one… basically it’s abt how Xiao Bei trying to compete with Neo Image. So, if u wanna noe, just wait till I got the patient and mood to write the story again…haha…
So sad, next week I can’t watch it coz I’m GOING S’PORE!... sad but also excited…especially to meet my frenz…for the results it’s more abt anxiety and uncertainty…So, I shall try to distract myself and dun get so tense meanwhile…by watching tv of course haha…have a great day ppl =)…

Confusing...confusing...
I think I'm suffering from confusing syndrome...hehe is there such a term...?
Firstly, becoz of the A level rumour... It's getting really exciting now....everybody is speculating when it is coming out. Our principal said it's 27/28...then sum other source said 3rd march....but luckily the rumour saying that it's 6th march is less reliable....haha...If it's really 6th march, that's really too long a waiting time...Can u imagine a few more weeks of heart thumping quickly with uncertainty...bleh...the sooner the better...the sooner the better...
The second issue that bothers me is wad course to take… I've been considering chem. engineering for some time… From many ppl who is taking, I've heard that it's a lot on phy which I'm quite weak in… But from the job prospect, It seems to be not so bad…as in quite interesting. It's a very wide subject somemore…so I'll have more choice later on in terms of the employment… Haiz…am I thinking too much…but hopefully with careful consideration I won’t regret later…
Somebody just help me…
*Ignorance is bliss*...for now...

The most thrilling friendship dae!
Actually the whole story has nothing to do with Friendship dae....
This morning around 11 plus, I was chatting with Vidia n K'Adi when suddenly my mom shouted from outside my comp room....She said...."kebakarannnn!" My first reaction was like..."huh? Maybe it's just another false alarm...." This slow n calm reaction is because I'm too used to having false alarm quite often in Singapore....besides that....wad ppl usually think is that such disaster only happens to other ppl...not myself...
Budden, suddenly I rmb that this is iNDO, where got alarm....so it must be true..but of course I dun take that long to ponder...So, I frantically off my comp and help my mom to pack stuff...and impt documents....
Actually till that moment I was not panicked at all coz I didnt noe where exactly was the fire...
So, after I finished packing...I went downstairs and waited near the door....
Out of curiousity, I went out of my house, wanted to see how n where was the fire.... wad a shock to me, coz the fire was just a few houses from my house...but luckily, when I saw that, wad I could see was just white fumes...the neighbours said that the owner of that building illegally used that building as chemicals storage...altho' there has been complaints from ppl....
I saw sum fire fighters ard trying to spray water to reach the 3rd storey of the building... After a while, the fire fighters all went away....which made me think that the fire has already been put off completely...but I could still see sum white fumes coming out of the top floor...but I reason that maybe after the fire is put off, fumes will still appear wad...?... My neighbour , staying 2 houses from mine....which is exactly behind the burnt building was still unsatisfied wif wad they saw... They suspected that the fire is not completely off yet... So they found a long bamboo ladder, to check out the building from behind...
At this moment, most of the neighbours were quite calm aledy....they went back inside their house...but I was still waiting outside to see wad happened...though I was also calmer than be4 aledy....
Suddenly, Sum ppl shouted that the fire is back....and true, I could see BLACK fumes...not white anymore...and it's quite thick summore...now this is the thrilling part coz u see ppl riding the motorcycle away from my neighbourhood,...n ppl shouting away....that was really chaotic...
So, my mom decided that I should moved to a friend's house nearby wif some of the impt docs plus sum other stuff which is quite a lot actually...
So, I waited in that friend's house without knowing wad's gonna happen....
I was wondering why the fire fighter left the building without making sure that it's already really safe....although they have a slogan which sounds like this "Pantang pulang sebelum padam"....If I translate it to English, it means,..."Won't go back before (the fire is) completely off"...
After sum time of waiting...then my mom came back and told me that it's really completely off now...and I could go back home....
Actually the reason why the fire could not be put off effectively the 1st time was that the owner of the house beside the burnt one is so selfish that they did not allow the fire fighters to enter their house...for wadever reason which I think doesnt make sense at all...imagine!...wad's the disadvantage of allowing ppl into ur house to actually safe ur house from burning... and if they have allowed that earlier, It may not cause so much damage and worry so many ppl...haiz...no brainer!
Luckily, my house is safe...no damage...Thank God...
See...how exciting my friendship dae...no frens to celebrate and no chocolate to eat...but wif and experience to rmb...
So, lesson learned: dun be selfish hor!
secondly: dun be too panic when U face any emergency condition...I emphasised the "too" coz it's practically impossible to be not panic when u have to...but if u could be less panic, u can think straighter and maybe safe lives...hueheuh... is this too chim...too deep? huhauahau...
Apart from the long story of the fire, the rest of the day was juz as boring as the rest of my hols....but I was damn exhausted from all the day's experience...so, I oso got no time to wish my frenz "Happy Friendship day" personnally...
but maybe to those of u who is reading my blog..."Happy Friendship day"...Hopefully it's not too late...
but I think, for those who have friends...everyday should be a friendship day...=)
So, my friends..miss u so much...

My beloved almamater K2...
I was quite lazy to go at first coz I dun noe anybody anymore there... budden....my mom asked me to go coz my brother performed on that ...so I went....
When I arrived there....I was even more dissapointed....It's not that the bazaar was lousy...in fact, it was quite good in terms of the stuff that they sell...got pizza, drink, accessories, even books...Gramedia was there too...budden...the dissatisfying part was, it's lack of the students touch...all the stalls were tended by parents or juz sum outsiders....lack of students participation here....sigh...really can't compare to VJ wif all the spirit which makes a normal bazaar or funfair, we called it last time, a super duper exciting event... Then again, wad do u expect from sum SMP students...maybe last time when I was their age and in that sch I was also like that, lack of initiative....haha...
After that I watched sum performances by the students in the hall...which includes my bro's performance....so sorry to say this but it's damn lousy...cant even hear wad they are doing on stage...sum more the peerformance not exciting at all. sigh....it's an open house day...should be more ON rite? then sound system oso not supportive....which makes the rather exciting performance ....the band... not as exciting....
Yes, I did saw sum teachers that taught me last time around...but but but....I doubt that they still can rmb me...haha.... I noe myself that I'm the kind who juz sit down in class, keep quiet n listen to teacher...How am I supposed to be remembered... I was quite active last time as OSIS or student council....but only to a certain extent which I think wont leave any significant mark in the teachers memory....Maybe for them, Iwas juz another student...haha so, that day, I decided not to go to them n make myself look stupid...haha...maybe i'm also lack of confidence n courage...blehhh...wad a lousy personality I have here...
Overal...u can juz guess that i'm not happy wif wad I saw that day....much lower than my expectation...but...wad I really wanna say is, I still miss the time when I was at that stage...coz SMP was the time when I was still enjoying my slacking life in Indo... and at the same time have so much fun wif my frenz...
I oso realised that, after I went to VJ wif all the spirit and enthusiasm.... Indo ppl seems to be lack of them...haiz...where's the fun ppl?
okay...maybe enuf of complaining... hopefully next time not so much complain....
btw, why do I like to complain here...?

CNY coming!
But actually, without the festivity of CNY, I'm aledy eating so much evryday...So, imagine this, constant input of food with less activity, wad will it become...?Yes, pile of fats....haha...Yes, this is wad happen during holiday....
But i think it's gonna get worse during CNY.... even before the CNY celebration, I can aledy feel the vibe....
cookies keeping coming, fruits keep coming, plus the good food some more....wah....Eat till u drop....
All this makes me realise that I'm becoming rather health conscious or image conscious....haha....yup, thanx to 4 years of S'pore education wif all the "height n weight" and NAPFA....who will not start thinking of keeping fit and of course slim....
Sumtimes, when I see oily food served in front of me, I will think twice before eating it, or at least eat a smaller portion... budden, it hasn't reach the extent that I won't eat Chicken skin...especially those fried chicken one....haha...That's like the best part of the whole chicken u noe....so for those of u who dun eat chicken skin...or the flour part of fried chicken....pls do try...
Then the other thing that I realise during CNY season....ppl keep giving stuff to other ppl and then, other ppl will give you back...all of it juz become a cycle....yup, I noe it's a nice gesture and all....juz make it simple, you can buy your and eat it yourself....or if you wanna do good, give it to those who really need it...it will really cut a lot of wastage n of course, pile of fats...coz u buy the amount that u can finish....that's wad i think...
Haha...i think i should cut the crap now....
Juz wanna wish u a prosperous new year.....(btw, why chinese always associate CNY wif prosperity n all the good luck....?)haha....
okay...ciao...

Double5 Double6 ROX!
Wad amazes me is that, they never fail to entertain me (and also my brother) eventhough they are playing the same kinda games every week. And the thing is the game show has lasted for quite some time....which means that their rating should be good.
OKay, I must admit that I was not hooked the first time I watched it last year...I thought that it was sum kind of stupid game show which was super common in Taiwan.... but after I followed the game show every weekend, I think that these shows are very interesting and youthful (since all the participants are also young Chinese artists, including 5566 themselves). Sumtimes, they play near the pool wif all the slides and dunking, sumtimes they play in the themepark or schools wif different sort of challenges.
For me, the best part of the show is simply the host, 5566...yep, after all that long story, wad I wanna say is THEY ROCK! and they are multitalented too... they can sing, dance, make movies, and of course host. Arent they great??
Yeah, okay, actually they dun sing that well though (this is the criticism part).I have heard their album "Long time no see" or "Hau Jiou Bu Jian" and I feel that not enuf effort was put in... or maybe they are just not as talented in this field. Only very few songs from the album can keep me listening. The rest of the songs are just there to make the album have enuf songs....haha is my comment a bit too harsh?but i'm being frank here...
Most of the songs are just not special and not catchy enuf to differentiate themselves from other singers.... Moreover, only 2 of them usually sings...or seen singing...Tony Sun and Zach Wang...Their voices are not bad actually...but that only makes the other 2, Sam and Jason the back-ups....haizz so sad rite? I just dun like that...
I think if they put in more effort and pick better songs, they might sell better...
Even though i've critisised them so much, I think i got some more good things to say abt them.
There's this TV show called WZBQW....in which Sam has acted wif his other bandmate 183 club...(yes, he joins 2 bands...crazy rite?)...Okay, basically it is one good movie and this is the movie that gets me to notice Sam and then 5566 in turn...
Currently, the populariy of 5566 is rising fast with all the hosting of so many shows which are mostly shown during prime time... I really think that they deserve it for their hardwork...
So I'll openly declare that I'm one of their fans....Good Job!
hohoho...
oh yah...additional point for them: they dun act like playboys though their looks are jut not that good...but ok lah....

Catching up wif old friends...
They are the only 2 friends that I'm still comfortable wif and fortunately, I can connect to though we have parted and live different lives....
Apart from that, wad interesting was, it was my first trip taking busway....haha....
yeah, yeah,....for some ppl, that was not something to be proud of or someting unusual. But it's different for me...I've been a very sheltered and protected gurl that i rarely get the chance to take public transport in Jakarta.....I assure u it's very different form S'pore.... Actually for those who noes me and my family background, I'm sure it may not be a surprise to you....I grew up from a family who thinks that we have to be cautious and alert all the time....all abt forward looking and preparedness...so, like it or not, it's been implanted in my heart, soul, brain, basically evrywhere that safety is the best policy...yup, that's rite...
yeah, and back to the main point about taking busway....I must admit that, it is actually not bad at all considering that it's in Indo....Got air con, quite clean, i dun meet anybody disturbing me or doing any crime....so i assume it's OK...haha... yeah, no regret taking it, coz it's also affordable, Rp 3500...
The lesson I learn here, be willing to step out of your comfort zone, to experience the outside world that may not be as safe as your own but it's worth trying coz u'll find a lot of things that u can learn from... Maybe this story of me taking busway is not such a big deal as it sounds but, it teach me quite something...
And then, the rest of the outing wif my frenz was really fun....Though we din do any shopping....basically we eat and chat, walk and chat, haha chat till we drop... It's exciting to noe abt their lives which is very different from me....but, the great thing is that, we are still on the same channel...same frequency....like the same things, talk abt the same things....haha...so it was simply GREAT!
okiez....i think it's enuf for now...gonna post when i got more to tell...

killing me softly..
very long time aledy....
yup...kind of miss writing in my blog again...
but not so good now, I got Sore Throat and bad Flu!!!...
and that is really killing me softly...
everyday taking cough syrup....(though it doesn't taste so bad....but still, it's medicine), runny nose n everything...
I hope i'll get well soon and also for those of my friends who are also experiencing the same frustration....(it's really super frustrating esp when u tried to do work but u juz can't breath and ur headache is killing u)...
apart from my bad flu, I'm really looking forward to the national day holz next week....though it's not my country's national day....but still.... who dun want holz rite....
anywae, i aledy dunno wad country i'm attached to really...having stayed in sg for 4 years and going to stay here for uni oso....i start to think that i might be staying here all my life...
but i dun really wish for that actually, i want to explore the world and stay at other part of the world like US and australia...hahaha....but for now, should be quite content to stay in sg...
yup....so after the holz there's something else that i'm looking forward to, the Hostel Games Day...i've signed up for badminton, captain's ball and basketball...hopefully i can win something...not like last year (me n my partner were defeated at the first round of badminton double)....hahaha....
but my main concern is not the prize (this is honest okay?), really i juz want to have fun coz sports is really my passion...
okay...maybe i should end here...
adios.....=)
