the S word....

Yes, u may have guessed correctly wad the S is for... S stands for stress... there's no other words that i can even think of now...
all i've been doing since last thursday is to mug n mug n mug...
honestly, i've been pushing myself beyond my normal standard.
usually, at least i'll have more breaks in between my studying time....
now, surprisingly, I was able to resist myself from other distractions and nicely sit down in R2 study room almost 12 hours a day, or even more sometimes... this is world record for me!!! haha...

okay, nothing to be proud about since i think most ppl here are doing that...sigh

but seriously, this exam period has driven me a bit crazy... but luckily i still can maintain a bit of sanity...(hopefully)

these are some of the quirky n bad things that has been happening from the days leading to exams till today (i still have 3 papers more to go by the way....huaaaaa!!!!!)
  • NUS is seriously lack of power point and benches... if u go to the library n any open areas n want to use your laptop, better come early to "chop" the plug...if not, u r doomed!!
  • Ppl are so deprived of studying area that they dun mind sitting down on the floor along the corridor.... i've seen some doing that in PGP...
  • U studied so hard for maths and thought that it was the most prepared module among other screwed-up modules n yet you flunked it. and the worse thing, the paper was considered doable if not easy to some.
  • after your maths paper on saturday, you had lunch with your friends and talked to them (this is still normal)... and thennnn, u found out that all the while you've been thinking that CN exam is on monday, CM exam is on thursday.... and it's all WRONG!!! CM shld be on monday, CN on thursday... yes, basically it means that u've prepared for the wrong papers... sigh.... to make things worse, there are 2 exams on monday... now, u are unprepared for 2 papers.... and you only have less than 2 days to "do your best"... hm, i wonder how that can happen...
  • Fire alarm in PGP rang twice at 4 o'clock or 5 o'clock or 4 o'clock (haiz, cant rmb....but basically around that time) in the morning before CM paper... and after that your sleep was interupted by constant fear of being overslept for CM paper at 9 am... which would mean a total waste of effort during the weekend if that really happens...(luckily not). Interestingly, in between that interupted sleep, you managed to actually get into a dream... nightmare more precisely : there's a fire opposite your house... (must be the fire alarm effect)
  • It's monday morning and you were still rushing through the last 2 chapters of your CM notes and your exam was in 1 hr time... you were just reading through without anything going into your mind. The "amazing" thing was: while you are studying CM throughout the weekend, you realised that nothing has got into your mind during lectures in term time... so, basically you were trying to learn everything from scratch... seriously, i dunno wad i've been doing before this, quite a few of my notes are like "untouched". This sem is such a waste of time...
  • the afternoon after CM paper which turns out to be a ULTRA disastrous (as expected), you still have another marketing paper to sit for... and you have 4 more chapters to go...and 4 more hours left.... so you wanna try to find some empty seats at the study room in sch and found that there's not even a single available seat to squeeze into... you had to resort to going to some benches along a dim corridor and strain your eye for some light to study... how pathetic..!!!
  • Surprisingly, you managed to finish reading through all the outstanding notes within that 4 hours and confidently went to the exam hall.... you did all the questions and finished the exam with happy feelings, not because you know you got all answers correct but because you know that nothing can be worse that CM paper in the morning....
  • But when you start talking n discussing with your friends, you found out that all the long essays that you've written are rubbish... long but non sense...haha that's the art of crapping!

"If there's a will, there's a way" -> that is one saying that i really need to adopt now!! haha

3 more papers to go...

3 papers in 2 days...how "wonderful"!
