Fun way of doing charity...

have u ever stand for hours along Orchard road just to sell flag?
have u ever beg your friends to buy your $2 tickets for charity and end up buying one yourself?

i bet almost all students in Singapore will have this "difficult" experience before...

but hey, in NUS there's this very fun way of doing your part for charity... just for clarification, i'm not doing any promotion for the organising committe coz i have no link wadsoever to them...
but who will believe that by folding lots and lots of paper crane you can help the poor...
for 1 crane folded, they will donate one bowl of rice...
unique huh!

and it's super fun too... wad makes it fun is that usually ppl will take the origami papers before their lects start and of course fill their boring lect time with folding paper crane...hahah
not recommending it to anyone.... i'm just sharing wad i observed and wad i did oso...hahaha

hey hey...
Today is the first day of sch and i'm quite excited to come back (surprisingly)... dunno why, maybe holiday was too meaningless.
And guess wad... the famous arts canteen "the deck" is now open again...yeah!! which means gud food... hahah not that engin food is sucky but defenitely the deck gives us more choices.

I had 2 lectures today and after engin o week i feel that i get to know more ppl (which is a gud thing). Okay lah, must admit that i'm not that outgoing but at least i saw a lot of familiar faces roaming around engin...hahaha... some of them i dunno their names. but not bad lah, at least i gain something from the camp

okie, as i promised in my previous post, i will blog abt this year o' week. It has been a very enriching experience and i defenitely never regret joining. Somehow it makes me think back to last year when i was a freshman and joined engin o week oso... miss those time so much!
My grp this year is called Happy Tree, u know "Happy Tree Friends", the cute but sadistic creatures...hahha.. and that was indeed an "appropriate" name for our grp...haha... (Our maskot was half, if not 3/4, destroyed by the end of o'week --> on purpose lah)

One thing is so special abt this grp is that the ratio of guys and girls is around 9:11, if not quite balance for some days. If u think that is normal, think again!!! this is engin u noe. how can u have a grp with more girls than guys...haha...

quite sad that we have to end the orientation and start school come to think of it, after all the sleepless nite (playing all sorts of stupid games)... and many many more...

too bad i dun have the photos rite now. hope to get it soon so that i can post it here...

peeping out again..

After so much pestering from some ppl, in the end i decide to update this abandoned blog again...

Holiday is almost over... not very meaningful since most of the time i just rot at home. But of course there are some highlights like Bandung trip with my family, ocassional shopping with dwee and my photoshop course.... Actually my 21st birthday also fell in between the holiday..hahha legally adult, just like wad alice wrote in her card.

I'm too lazy to elaborate coz really the rest of the holiday is so unmeaningful that i cant really remember.

The past 2 weeks was filled with a lot of shopping trips to Orchard and the like since my mom came to s'pore for 1 week and dwee came for 2 weeks and she's still here....hahah

2 nites ago...we played monopoly in yeanching's room and she managed to beat the rest although all of us team up alrd to help each other survive... but she poved herself worthy of the free monopoly set...hahha


then after that we helped wenny to do her SP stuff to buaya a senior guy in KR... it was fun doing all those stuff but the guy better accept her because we alrd put so much effort... until 4 am u noe...hahhaha....

Holiday is official ending very very soon with o'week starting this afternoon. Today is 1st day and we have to sleep over alrd coz there'll be a fright nite tonite... I hate fright nite...i dun wanna go fright nite.. watch horror movies also dun dare, how do u expect me to survive a fright nite... Oh well, but that's just part of the things that i have to go thru' during this 1 week or so.

Actually i got nothing much to write now... maybe later after o'week i have more exciting experience to share. cya!!
