sigh... This sem doesnt seem to be going well. Tutorial registration round just ended n i didnt get most of the slots that i wanted. As a result, I have to bear with my pathetic timetable. No more free days unless I have no labs on wed...but apart from that, i will have lessons from 8 o'clock in the morning until quite late in the afternoon (usually till 4, 5 or 6...). no good. this means i will have less time to rest in the afternoon and thus, i will slack at nite. I kind of able to foresee wad is going to happen. If i slack at nite, I wont be able to finish my work usually....sigh.... why is it so troublesome here in NUS?? why cant they just provide more slots for the time that most ppl wanted. why do we have to bid? why do we have to ballot? "exercise our responsibility n decision making??" sounds nice but not effective at all. it seems that they never consider that there are certain time slots that more ppl wants. why not just give more? why.....
since I'm stuck with this weird tutorial timing, I have no friends in my marketing tutorial class...haiz....got project summore....how am i gonna survive this. Just hope i'll get good ppl in my class.
now wad i can do is just complain n hope the NUS ppl will pity me n consider my appeal. If not, I just gotta deal with my time management.... i feel like i'm stressed unneccessarily with these trivial matters...huh!! need to learn how to cool down.....
And wad's wrong with MSN these days?? cant even log in now....sigh...
just wanna whine n complain. I'm hating sch now!!!!

new year new skin
as u all can see...i have new blog skin now...yay!
I took me quite long to modify the whole thing and the result is not as fantastic as i want it to be....but i really dunno how to modify it further...everything seems to be so squeezed, especially the tagboard...but no choice... with my limited html skill, this is the most i can do...
2 days ago, which is a saturday, all the indos here had a bbq in pgp. paid 5 bucks each. i thought we were supposed to be on budget and yet the things that the guys bought were chicken, stingray (a looot), beef, otah... no sausage, no fishball...haha...yah, but it was nice.
but chicken took super long to cook (bbq)...in the end some of the girls just take them back to the pantry and put them in the oven....haha....
the rest of the nite we just played cards and polar bear...haha as usual....
too bad i dun have any pictures from the bbq...too lazy to bring my camera that day...
today is monday and it is the 2nd week of sch aledy. I am relaxed but at the same time stressed...
all the lectures rush like trains...i havent even got time to look thru the previous one and a new lecture aledy begin...sigh....express train really...
oh ya, so many textbooks to buy oso....4 textbooks needed this sem. and i feel so dumb not to buy 2nd hand textbook for my CN1111....aduh...so expensive!
btw, this sem, I'm taking 6 modules, hope can survive. not just survive, hope i can do well of course....haha oh ya, this reminds me wad dipta said during IT lect. He said someone got CAP 5.0 and he got extra $2000 bucks from sembcorp....so good!!!...hahah (sounds so materialistic)...haiya, dream on....CAP 5.0 a bit impossible. can get above 4.5 will be a very very good improvement aledy...haha
okie lah...need to catch up on a lot of things now....

here I am...
hello hello hello...
wow...it's been such a long time...I've been to lazy to update my blog throughout the holiday even when it still had good internet connection...
I shall sum up all the things that were happenning during this short holiday....(i will never ever complain that holiday is too long)
after coming back from KL (refer to my previous blog that is super long-winded), I've been in singapore for another week for my dance class...
then i fly back to jakarta after a few days, I fly to padang....see i fly a lot..haha
it was a great holiday there, nice beach!! feeding monkeys...it's quite a back to nature kinda trip... all the pics that i took there are in the comp at home...so cant show off here...next time maybe...
then come back jakarta again and basically there's nothing significant apart from slacking n going out with alice n dwee...oh ya, we oso met up with hokito, phya, stephan, gary...it was a nice reunion, after everybody separated, reminiscing the old times when we were in vj...
new year was as boring as ever, coz in jkt i cant go anywhere...unless u wanna get trapped in the midst of traffic jam doing nothing...so i decided on a wiser choice, slacking in front of my tv watching taiwan channel till countdown...haiz...wad a pathetic new year...
then yesterday i took flight back from jkt to sg, taking lufthansa....the flight was honestly the scariest flight that i've ever taken...it's not the plane's fault, but i guess the whether was just very very bad....we all can really feel the plane dropping down a lot on certain point of times.... it's very scary especially after the incident of adam air going missing, so everybody have some kind of anxiety (quated from adela)... but glad that it was all over and i'm back safely in singapore...
yep, and now i'm back in nus, with all the upcoming commitments that i dunno how to handle...lectures starting, everything is starting, i'm just unprepared for all this. still want the good relaxing time at home when wad i need to worry is basically nothing...haha...
wish me luck for this upcoming sem...hope it will be better than the one that has just passed...which is greatly unlikely...haha...

KL trip...funtastic!!
yep yep, after the depressing post abt exam, I shall upadate abt my holiday plan..
okay, it was a holiday plan...that aledy came true haha...
yup, 11 of us (all indo) plus YC, we went to KL!!
haha though i've been there before (the last time there were 6 of us, oso right after exam....), but i think every trip has different kind of fun and excitement... It's really a good way to refresh after all the hours you've prisoned urself in the library or in the room...
5th nite
i finished my paper at 7 plus...then I came back pgp for dinner...how sad is that? ppl went out to celebrate, I ate dinner alone in my room watching youtube..haha...but it's okay, I was supposed to pack n clean up my room that nite...and it took me the whole nite to do...and I only managed to pack my stuff for the trip, the room is still as messy as ever...haha
actually we planned to not sleep at all the whole nite since our bus was damn early in the morning...730...so we had to leave at ard 6 plus...
but being me, I just cant survive without sleeping at all... so I tried to sleep becoz i thought I was tired...but I was wrong, I couldnt sleep for 2 or 3 hrs, so in the end I woke up and read my book. then I went back to sleep but guess wad!! I woke up when the rest aledy wanna leave...haha...wad a shock lah! luckily still can make it...haha...lesson learnt, next time dun sleep means dun sleep!!

so we took bus from beach road... they bus ride was long...haha not that i dunno abt it... but after so long hours sitting on the bus, u'll feel bored lah, so we take a lot of stupid pictures and play a lot of bridge before at last we reach our destination: PUDURAYA, KL!!
when we reach there, it was very chaotic...understandable since it's not singapore...haha...wanna take cab oso need to bargain, no meter one...
so in the end we reach our "hotel" -sun inn-
it's definitely a place for budget holiday...but i really dun mind coz come to think of it, we spent most of our time outside, only come back to sleep n bathe...and summore it's super near sunway pyramid...so can just walk there....
the first thing that we did was EAT!!...and of course, "borong" all the sim cards from the phone shop...haha coz all of our numbers from sg cant roam...
then we split up after that to shop... before the split, me, ismy, jenn, and the guys have an agreement to compete for who shop the most in terms of the amount of money spent...as in 4 guys vs 3 gals..haha
but in the end, we forgot to compare receipt..hahah... but i think that day the guys shop more than gals... somehow they are more decisive in buying stuff..not like gals who always look for a better bargain at another place...hahha
then after shopping we eat NANDO's!! something like kenny rogers, roasted chicken plus salad, plus corn, plus peri chip...(peri chip or very cheap?) nyum...haha...
i oso met my cousin shylvia, she's studying n monash, that's why stay near sunway...haha...actually quite paiseh, made her come all the way from class for nothing, the shops are all closed, we just stand around talking lah....
at nite, we watched midnite movie "casino royale"...haha it's super cheap watching movies in KL...only 7 ringgit...even cheaper than indo....
while waiting for the movie, we took stupid pictures and played polar bear...dunno why the game become so popular throughout our trip...everytime we got waiting time and some big space to sit, we'll always play this game...haha

basically that day was dedicated to shopping...went to KLCC to meet danny n jian, then went sungei wang to shop for cheaper stuff....the place is sumthing like fareast lah...very fun!!!....but pocket got hole...hahah

the rest went back to KL by bus early in the morning...while i go yc's place...too bad no photos...but had a lot of fun n eat a lot of good food...
went to times square...then eat seafood with yc's family....good!!
then at nite went for drinks at this halo cafe....a really cool place to hang out coz got live band!! and summore we got to request haha so happy...and got this guy who sounded totally like lin junjie...damn nice voice...

wake up then had dimsum for breakfast...nice..but i ate until i got so bloated...haha coz yc's dad ordered a lot of food...
come back n look at yc sorting her beads to make earrings...so fun lah!!haha i wish i have a sister to share this kind of thing with haha...
dilly dally for a while and then it's time for us to take bus back to sg...hiks...holidays overrr......
had ramly burger at yong peng....not bad lah...but not as special as i thougt...nevertheless....uennakk..

but for the success of this trip, we need to thank david for organising everything, booking the hotel, the bus tix, collecting money, queuing for sunway lagoon tix...and many more.hhaha...
and personally i need to thank yc for allowing me to stay at her place..haha maybe not at the right time coz her house is under renovation...i went there to disturb only....sorrieee...

yup, though it's late, i still find it a "must" to write this down in my blog as part of my first "exam experience" in NUS
That last MLE paper was really a killer...becoz I had to wait very long for it to come....(not that I'm very eager to take the exam.....just want the exam to finish fast, that's all!)...while eveyone else around me have started their post exam celebration much earlier...while i'm suffering, try to restrain myself to the room, try to study hard for my last 2 papers....but to no avail....I ended up slacking, daydreaming, and doing other unimportant things other than studying...haha
only the last 2 days before exam, then I started panicking like crazy... I saw everyone else doing the opposite of wad i do...Other ppl, they studied so hard at the beginning until they had enuf of MLE aledy, then they dun study anymore last minute.... either way, it doesnt matter anymore...wad's important is I'VE SURVIVED UNDER PRESSURE....rmb the G11 moto?haha
yup, it's really pressure cooker here...everybody's literally camping in either the library or the study room...haha...
that's why when the examiner said "stop writing" at the end of the MLE paper, I have this happy, bubbling sensation that I couldnt contain... It's like "YAY...Yeeha...!!" wadever other expression words that u can think of..haha.... even though I couldnt do the paper very well, I was just super duper happy...dun care about wad the end result would be like...
oh ya, btw, result will be out 1 or 2 days after xmas....which sux, it's like my xmas present...see whether santa is nice to me or not lah... oh, wrong...see whether i've been good or bad lah this year...haha..

To the girl who just turns 20...
for the lucky girl in the picture...haha....yup, VIDIA is the name!!!
Happy birthday ya!! you've hit the big 2 already...haha... yay!!
have known her for the past 5 years ...that may not be very long....but the things that we've gone through together in singapore has made us very close....
we've been in the same school and even same class n same cca for 4 years...huah, come to think of it, it's quite long actually....considering that we oso stay in the same hostel...hahha almost 24 hrs together... but i'm not complaining that i was bored of seeing her... in fact, I kinda miss her so much now... coz she's far far away from sg... 12 hrs time difference.... but she's never far away from my heart...aduh, why sound so cliche....
yup, vidi is this "kecil2 cabe rawit" girl that i noe... haha.... no offence, k? size doesnt matter lah...haha but it's true for the "cabe rawit" part....coz i think she's this strong n independent girl who knows wad she wants... especially now, I admire her for being able to go so far away to study alone... haha... but i hope u are doing well there n get to know more good friends....
and i hope ur friends there r celebrating ur bdae with u, coz i can't be there with u, I can just hope that ur bdae is still as memorable n fun!!! huhu...jadi bener2 kangen...
life is quite different from sec sch n jc....coz all u ppl (u noe who u are) leave to study "abroad" (in this case abroad of singapore)....haha now weekend dun have anybody to go out with oso..not like last time, only with a knock on the door....can immediately go shopping or eat or watch movie or go for a walk at east coast...
i think i digressed quite a bit...so back to the topic of the day, VIDIA!
vidi itu orangnya asik buat curhat n gossip... behind that cute appearance, she got mature personality.... at least comparable to me...haha, so we can connect well when we talk, but yet, we still do silly stuff together...haha

corrine may songs especially "angel in disguise", the dog soft toy "ko-spot", swimming and tennis (she's pro!), being picky abt food (=P), cheese ruffles, or anything cheesy, her cute drawings and handwriting, Friends (ur fave tv series), wearing watch day n nite --> until the watch is spoiled haha, fish n more fish... rmb the black fish that u kept in nygbs, and the fish that we bought for mr foo and almost all died coz we fed them wrong stuff ...haha...actually still got a lot...but i cant mention it one by one here...

cockroach vs lizard...
haduh...wad kind of post is this....must be influenced by alice's blog then write about all these pests thingy...haha...no lah joking2...
why this topic come abt....It's indirectly because of ismy...haha
today, me n ismy was walking from cental lib to yih... to eat subway (but that was not the main point here...just wanna say that i ate subway for both lunch n dinner... italian bmt n meatball marinara...!)
okay...back to topic, then suddenly ismy said, "how come it's so dim here?" then she checked the ceiling for the lights...
then suddenly she shouted "arhg!"... of course i'm totally shocked as i was walking beside her....i think i really jumped when she screamed...
then i found out that she just saw a lizard as she was looking at the lights at the ceiling...
and because of that, throughout the walk from central lib to yih, she keeps looking up at the ceiling...and guess wad, there are lots n lots of lizard...
although i'm not fond of lizard either...but wad scare me is not the lizards themselves...but it's because ismy screamed everytime she saw one... so can imagine me feeling shocked n stopping everytime she screamed...
and the way from central lib to yih is not short..hahaha...
then we were discussing, which one is more disgusting, lizard or cockroach...coz i'm super duper scared of cockroach.... more than lizard...
haha...but actually to me, both are equally disgusting, it's just that lizard are more "tau diri", they will run away when u shoo them away...
but cockcroach is different....I dunno wad's wrong with them man!! everytime i saw one i will run away (which is odd considering i'm much much bigger than the cockcroach itself...haha but so many ppl are like that oso...so dun need to be shy...lol) but wad i dun understand is, why cockroach likes to run towards u as u are running away... arent they afraid getting killed n shldnt they run AWAY...not TOWARDS ppl...haiz...and the "best" thing is when they run over your feet...yucks yucks yucks!!! if that happen i'll wash my feet 7 times...arghh....

today, me n ismy was walking from cental lib to yih... to eat subway (but that was not the main point here...just wanna say that i ate subway for both lunch n dinner... italian bmt n meatball marinara...!)
okay...back to topic, then suddenly ismy said, "how come it's so dim here?" then she checked the ceiling for the lights...
then suddenly she shouted "arhg!"... of course i'm totally shocked as i was walking beside her....i think i really jumped when she screamed...
then i found out that she just saw a lizard as she was looking at the lights at the ceiling...
and because of that, throughout the walk from central lib to yih, she keeps looking up at the ceiling...and guess wad, there are lots n lots of lizard...
although i'm not fond of lizard either...but wad scare me is not the lizards themselves...but it's because ismy screamed everytime she saw one... so can imagine me feeling shocked n stopping everytime she screamed...
and the way from central lib to yih is not short..hahaha...
then we were discussing, which one is more disgusting, lizard or cockroach...coz i'm super duper scared of cockroach.... more than lizard...
haha...but actually to me, both are equally disgusting, it's just that lizard are more "tau diri", they will run away when u shoo them away...
but cockcroach is different....I dunno wad's wrong with them man!! everytime i saw one i will run away (which is odd considering i'm much much bigger than the cockcroach itself...haha but so many ppl are like that oso...so dun need to be shy...lol) but wad i dun understand is, why cockroach likes to run towards u as u are running away... arent they afraid getting killed n shldnt they run AWAY...not TOWARDS ppl...haiz...and the "best" thing is when they run over your feet...yucks yucks yucks!!! if that happen i'll wash my feet 7 times...arghh....

life oh life...
mugging mode: ON
yup, this is wad u would expect from me, 11 days or less from final exam....grrrrr...scary sia....
last time, we mug for months to prepare for O'level or A'level....
now, we mug for a few weeks (precisely less than 2 weeks) for about the same amount of things to study....sigh... this is part of growing up i guess... the older u get, the tougher the things u have to handle...haha
this week i feel much more relaxed and calm than last week....i dunno why oso...although i still got a lot to study...but i'm just going to do it at MY own pace...yep...
so far, I'm still on the summary making process (and i'm doing it at a snail rate...) but that's how i study...haha... actually i enjoy the process of doing it, coz i like to make my summary colourful n neat haha...
hopefully i'm oso learning at the same time...
i dunno wad is it like to be in overseas uni (as in outside singapore)...is it oso like this where everybody mug in the library weeks before exam... imagine, central lib in NUS is really packed, like sardines in a can.... wooohh scary but that's the reality and I'm one of the sardines...haha...coz i totally cant study in my room...too much distractions...
but wad's wrong with the internet in pgp?? i cant live without it now...It's my sole source of entertainment....usually the presence of internet is the source of distraction...but even the absence of internet can distract me....coz i keep trying to connect and waiting n waiting n waiting...ha
okay...i think this post is damn boring...actually i hate writing abt mugging in my blog...but it's better than mugging itself haha...
dunno wad i'm talking abt already..haha so i'll stop here...

wad goes thru my mind now...
this is a total random post...really just wanna pour out the things in my mind so i can go back n concentrate on my work...I'm so dead lah!
- now I really feel the pressure building up...my own fault, slack too much! watch movie n play taboo too much, chat too long after dinner, watch too much youtube, msn-ing too much.... now then all the pending tutorial waiting for me to do...all the MLE n maths lectures waiting for me to make sense out of them... arghhh....
Just wanna make a correction...last time i said, life was slightly slacker than JC...I was totally wrong. I made myself slack n now I get the punishment...waaaa!
- i burnt my wallet...literally...
I went this jap restaurant in NUS (sukiya), ordered chicken teriyaki on "HOT" plate... when i was carrying the tray, I put my wallet on the tray, touching the HOT plate. As a result...tadaaaaa! a whole in my wallet...hiks...my fave blue wallet that I bought for 15 bucks.... I hate looking for new wallet coz it's hard to find something that I really like at affordable price...
but now I got a reason to shop!! yay!...haha but where got time lah....
Target: I'll only get new wallet if I have been a good girl these few days, do all my tutorials, watch all the pending webcast, revise a bit....then I'll get my reward on Sunday, hopefully...
- I love teriyaki sauce now...not teriyaki boyz (singers of Tokyo drift song)...
Arts canteen: nice chicken teriyaki...so juicy n tender.... but the salmon teriyaki was not as nice...
Engin canteen: nice salmon teriyaki...
Sukiya: the chicken teriyaki that burnt my wallet....

then 10 go sch...mug at central lib... i like cen lib though the aircon is unbearable sometimes.... but looking at so many ppl mugging oso makes me more motivated....slightly...or distracted sometimes.... but better than stoning at home or wasting my precious hours in front of my laptop....

- this may sound super stupid, but i suddenly feel like going to a country with winter so that I can wear nice nice coat or jacket an d boots...wad a bimbo thought..hahah...but nvm...maybe I'm a bit stressed out liao...

inspiration...
inspired by project runway...
childhood interest carried forward till now...
was stoning in the central lib, bored of tut in front of me....
those are some of the reasons i came out with these drawings...
for those of u who noe me, u shld no that I have been doing this once in a while...when the inspiration just hit me...
but this is the first time i'm gonna put it in my blog...for show...or maybe to show off..
they are not exactly very very nice, but i'm still proud of it...coz i did it all by myself...plus some photoshopping...erh, i mean doing a bit of photoshop on them to make them look clearer. but basically not much change to the designs...
1. this is the first design that i drew in central lib... it looks kinda formal but it's meant to be retro funky....i want the colar to have some colour but due to lack of colouring equipment i just make it black..haha...
2. the subsequent designs are done in my pgp air-conned room (wad's the connection ya?)...haha
basically this piece is supposed to be chick, sweet, and simple....and i want it white, but i only have black pencil....so use photoshop to change the colour..haha...cheat a bit lar...
3. this piece just pops up out of no clear inspiration...haha...but i love the colour combi of the skirt...i used my purple n maroon 0.38 uniball signo...haha... and overall the clothes just looks fun and it's for hang out kind..haha
4. this fourth pieces are drawn several times and the original idea was nothing like that...but it turns out to be a sweet looking dress...so i just stick with it...i like the details on the bottom of the skirt...the ruffles...
5. this last piece is actually to fill the empty space...but it was not bad, so i just put it up....no particular theme...just cool n funky... it's a turtle-necked top...with a wrap around, miniskirt n a pair of tights...haha...so complicated
i use my limited drawing n photoshop skill to do all this...if anyone noe how to do colouring on paint or photoshop pls teach me...haha...
I enjoy designing but i never consider designing as a career...this is purely for fun, keeping me insane inspite of all the light-speed tutorial and incomprehensible lectures....sigh...
pls, say nice things hor...haha...no lar...i dun expect any comments...just wanna show off...haha...and for my own collection....

Marina Bay steam boat...nyum!
haha...this post is supposed to come before the alice's bdae post...hhaa
but nevermind...I shall write this now lah...
yesterday i went steamboating with s12 ppl at marina bay...really nice to see all of them again after so long...I kinda miss the class coz i realise my class now is very segregated...we only come to class to attend lesson/ tutorial, then everybody just leave n there's so little interaction between us...haiz...
oh ya, steam boat...haha... It was yummy. Actually it was my first time eating there...I rmb the last time i went there was during chinese new year with the vhall gang n the juniors....but i didnt get to eat coz i ate with my cousins before that...

it's cheap n nice, though the place a bit dirty...but wad do u expect lah....such a price n such a place...but the impt thing is the food is nice lor...
after steamboat, the gals took hianchuan's car to esplanade while the guys have to take bus,..haha that's the advantage of being girls.haha
at esplanade we were just sitting ard at the water front chitchatting abt a lot of things...such a nice play to hang out...i wish i did that last time haha
We (me n shufang)only realised that we have to leave soon before the last bus ends (wad a cinderella story....) in the end we managed to catch the last 97 bus from cityhall there...then luckily bus 30 still operate when we reached harbour front at 12 haha...fiuh....
one of the inconvenience staying in pgp. coz pgp is a real ulu place, the bus stop is so far away...that's why sometimes a bit scary to walk back myself especially when it's super late aledy like yesterday...
but i was a nice gathering lah overall...miss them all!

this post is dedicated to Alice, the lucky gurl who is having her birthday today...24 oct 2006.... I dunno whether it's a holiday for her there today, but it's holiday for us today....hari raya puasa, idul fitri, wadever u wanna call it... happy hari raya puasa for all who celebrates...
back to the topic abt alice since it's her bdae today...must make her feel special today haha...(jangan ge er ya lice....cuma buat kali ini aja loh!! haha)
she's a friend that i got to know abt 3 years ago when I started my journey in singapore.... During the first 3 months of relc, we were not that close, but we were in the same english class at that time....
After that, came the shocking news that 5 of us got in rgs, including me n alice...that's where we become closer coz rg really dun have a lot of indo...so we are always stuck together in school, in hostel, we even became roommate for one year...had a lot of fun too then...
then, after the struggle to complete our o'level. it's time for me to decide which jc to go...I put vj first n nj second.... I thought my points wont be enuf to get me to vj.... but surprisingly, i got in there n guess wad, alice got in vj too...
SO, we continue to be in the same school for the next 2 years...with all the hell of mugging time...but of course not to forget all the great times we had... we spent most of our time in hostel together, eat together, watch movies together...coz we stayed 2 doors away only...just a knock on her door needed to kacau her studying haha...
alice, is a funky gal, who likes her hair spiked up, she even like to cut her own hair...haha...when u dunno her, she looks like a quiet type but actually she can crack a lot of jokes n make ppl laugh until got stomachache....
she's a punctual gal, always the earliest to get ready for everything...but the highlight is, she's a super duper creative gal that i've ever known... she can make some typical black note book into a classy n unique one (rmb her autograph book?)...
as a person, she's a very tolerant n caring gal!! but of course she's has her limit (which is good haha)...dun make her angry lah...if not ROAR!! haha just kidding lah...alice jarang marah kok!!! haha
It's so sad that now alice is no longer in singapore to pursue her uni...but i'm happy for her that she's aledy in aussie now, with her bro n sis.... just enjoy it there! miss her a lot coz we really have shared the good n bad times together, miss shopping with u too gal!!

Deathnote!!...not bad
I think the whole singapore is having the deathnote fever...maybe it's a bit too exaggerated to say that lah...but I guess since it is shown during this festive season n ppl are all having holidays, everybody just wants to go out to catch movies and one of the prominent choices is deathnote...
I went to watch yesterday oso...with this whole grp of indo frenz from pgp...not all of course...too many indo here that it's impossible to clique with everybody...
basically got me, ismy, jenn, david, linda, danny, beer, ananda...
we went vivocity which is this new n huge shopping mall at harbour front. For those who have not been in sg, this is a new place to shop...though the shops are mostly high-ends...but I havent really got the chance to walk ard yet since we reached just on time for the movie...
Why was it fun?? first, the movie itself is quite interesting, though not as good as the manga...just love the story line but I'm already looking forward to the 2nd one in dec...yay! just the right timing...a refreshing method after exam!!
second, the company. I havent got the chance to go out like this for such a long while...Last time, this is wad we do almost everyweek or at least once every month....but since i got into nus, I havent got the chance to truly go out n hang out with friends...
The bast part is, supper at fongseng after movie...banana cheese prata tastes good with sugar n curry...sounds weird but it's really nice when ur stomach is growling...haha
oh ya, as a result of deathnote hangover, we started calling each other with initials...like C for cindy, L for linda, I for ismy, J for Jeanette...haha...
I'm really looking forward to another outing like this....when arh?
Haiz, today is another unproductive day...I just stare at my laptop the whole day, eat at K gourmet, watch youtube, play taboo...sigh...my assignment is still untouched n i choose to write blog instead..haha

we went vivocity which is this new n huge shopping mall at harbour front. For those who have not been in sg, this is a new place to shop...though the shops are mostly high-ends...but I havent really got the chance to walk ard yet since we reached just on time for the movie...
Why was it fun?? first, the movie itself is quite interesting, though not as good as the manga...just love the story line but I'm already looking forward to the 2nd one in dec...yay! just the right timing...a refreshing method after exam!!
second, the company. I havent got the chance to go out like this for such a long while...Last time, this is wad we do almost everyweek or at least once every month....but since i got into nus, I havent got the chance to truly go out n hang out with friends...
The bast part is, supper at fongseng after movie...banana cheese prata tastes good with sugar n curry...sounds weird but it's really nice when ur stomach is growling...haha
oh ya, as a result of deathnote hangover, we started calling each other with initials...like C for cindy, L for linda, I for ismy, J for Jeanette...haha...
I'm really looking forward to another outing like this....when arh?
Haiz, today is another unproductive day...I just stare at my laptop the whole day, eat at K gourmet, watch youtube, play taboo...sigh...my assignment is still untouched n i choose to write blog instead..haha
I miss watching taiwan variety shows by 5566...so I tried to explore youtube...and this is wad i found...(i think it was from this year's chinese new year....very interesting n creative indeed! 5566 never fails to amaze me...)

When everybody starts to complain...
At last! my week is over... there were a lot of things going on for the past week... somehow time passes so fast...but i think i'm doing well. Just coping n keeping up with the pace of everything...right on the dot...Maybe slightly lagging, but still quite reasonable for my standard....
at last my grp is more or less done with the project and we've handed in our first draft. so, only needs a bit more fine tunning....dun wanna think so much abt oral defence first...taking one thing at a time...
and the good thing is, deepavali n hari raya is coming...yay!! so can slack a bit...
I got plans for these few days aledy.... tonite gonna watch deathnote at vivocity with Indo frenz...cant wait aledy!! then sunday got the competition, then monday going out with S12 frenz...for steamboat oh yay!!...haha... for the time being I shall just forget about the deadline for another project that is coming in 1 week time....=(

first competition
this post is dedicated to my first dance competition ever...but it is not a real competition in the sense. coz it's really an informal kinda thing...
yup, as u all know, i have been taking up my social n ballroom dance lessons, twice a week, cha cha n quickstep.
the course is coming to an end and the committe is organising this mini competition for us to "show off" wad we have learned lah...maybe they call it a competition to make it sound more exciting...
I'm actually quite excited abt it oso...coz i really really love doing this dance (havent i emphasise this enuf..?)... and the seniors are always very nice to teach us the moves whenever we are lost....
oh ya, back to the "competition"...actually, i dun really care abt winning or losing, coz that's not the whole point.
Yesterday was like the "qualifying round"...but really it's a friendly competition that every couple that took part got into the semifinals for at least one kind of dance...
How i rate my performance yesterday? i say not bad lah...for a first competition standard.... though got mistakes here n there, muffled moves, step wrongly ...wadever...it was a performance that i could be proud of...I felt quite confident and most imptly, i have greatly enjoyed it...and that's wad impt isnt it? haha...

it's been ages
it's been so so long since the last time i update here...Somehow I lost the mood to write aledy...life is as boring as ever...
but i'm kinda enjoying it now coz it's after midterm period...I feel that I have lost my midterm break...never really enjoy it to the fullest. So, I deserve a break now...somehow, I just take everything very easily...tutorials are always done last minute...
everyday, I will watch my korean series....my girl...high recommendation!! actually until now I still havent finish watching it...purposely watch slowly... This is so typical me...I won't want good things to end so fast...though I'm very curious about the continuation of the story...but it's just too wasted if such a nice movie is finished in a dash...just wanna prolong the happy feeling of being able to enjoy this show...
okay, back to the point abt post midterm...precisely, I'm having post midterm syndrome where I just dun take studying seriously...I hope this is only for now...coz I really need to gear up again...time will just fly past like siao...and if i dun catch up soon, I'll be the one who'll be siao near the exam.
I'm so scared of exam now...somehow, nobody is pushing me aledy. At least last time in vhall n nanyang, I see ppl mugging then will feel a little sense of guilt when i dun study. but now, everybody study in the room (I oso lock myself in the room), nobody to "push" n motivate me...I just hope i wont flung my exams lah...that's all...
Cha chan quickstep lessons are coming to and end next week. I have to say I have fully enjoyed the course so much. though sometimes i dread going all the way to kallang which is super far from pgp...it's a strain on the pocket n a strain on time...but I think i'll still continue for the next course which will begin on 9th of oct....haiz...money flowing out again...but nvm, it's all worth it cindy!! (self-assurance). there's also a mini competition on that last day. just wanna have fun, not particularly very competitive...
hm...talking abt holiday, today I just realised that it's the last day to apply for vacation stay and i havent plan much abt my holiday...dun even know when i can go back coz i havent book ticket...
honestly, now i dun look forward to go back as much...sometimes i feel that in indo, I dun have much room to move. It's just not save to wander ard alone...n of course i'll never do that. Apart from that, I just feel so dependent at home...i prefer my lifestle here where i gotta decide wad i wanna do.
but still i miss the comfort of home n wanna meet dwee n alice...
i dunno where r my other indo frenz aledy, somehow we have different lives now. they are too busy to entertain me oso...haiz...maybe i shld take the initiative too...jiayou....

The end of Idol fever...
okay...must say that this post is a bit late lar... Singapore idol 2 final was last Sunday and the result was out on Monday...hoho...yup, Hady Mirza against Jonathan Leong....
Who I support...of course Hady...He is consistent from the first time and he is just so RnB... u noe me, I love RnB...haha
and who wins...of course it's Hady oso...haha...but actually I thot Jonathan was not bad oso...but during the final, Jonathan was quite boring in the choice of songs. I somehow think that he's songs are very similar. With his kind of voice, he should have chosen different genres...all the songs he picked was very rock...which i dun really like oso lah...haha... but i rmb him singing "unforgettable" a few weeks ago and that was the kind of performance that I like better from him...not rock all the way.
On the other hand, Hady...he just knows how to choose the rite songs to show off his range..."through the fire" becomes my fave after he sings it...although like wad dick said, he went a bit off pitch...but he really got the guts to pick that kind of song lah! just see for urself lah...
Hady oso sounded better for the "you give me wings" compared to Jonathan...coz he varied his style...
oh wait...why do I sound like i'm one of the judges...erhmmm...too much idol shows aledy lah....
actually i did not really support anybody for this time round...hady sings well, jonathan is from nus...jasmine was from vj n was dwee's classmate...haha....i really didn't matter to me. just watched for the good performances
oh ya, vj choir was once again performing in the Idol final...I think they really gain the name n fame after the Germany choir olympics....haha...
Actually I'm quite proud lah for them...vj was my almamater...haha...
went shopping with ismy at bugis yesterday...and this is the first time i shop this much after i came to nus...haha...maybe it's a way to vent my stress....
I bought 2 tops n a skirt...haha...happy happy with wad I bought though I think they are a bit ex...but dun care lah...once in a while
I oso bought mooncake! yay! haha...snowskin one...
last time (when I was still in Indo) actually i dun like mooncake one....I looks dry n uninteresting. somehow, when I came here, I was willing to try it. I rmb that was during Nanyang mooncake festival...they gave free mooncake, of course must try!
I like those with eggyolks...haha nice!

got BREAK...got KIT KAT....
haha...actually this post is nothing abt kit kat lah...it's just some creative idea that I can think of now...
fiuh...so happy that I'm having a break now...but quite sad oso lah...coz i kinda feel that this break is gonna be super short n actually it's not a real break so to speak...mid term test is waiting for me after the break...
the other thing is, I oso feel quite lonely lah...(this is me...during school say wanna have a break...now give me break, I say lonely...but it's true lah)
yc is back in Malaysia, hope she's having fun at home...haha....
2 days out of 7 days holiday is over liao...
but it was 2 fulfilling days, not in terms of productivity though...haha...but had quite a lot of fun lah....I realise uni life is not that bad after all...i begin to enjoy myself, apart from the test and tutorial n lecture part of course...

friday was a super busy day...morning got ctw tutorial, did presentation, handed up my assignment (i spend almost 1 week plus to do it when i can just crap in a few hours near the deadline....that 1 week plus is super useless actually...)
then after that i "jaga" red cross booth to promote our blood donation drive...(this is quite ironical though, I myself is damn scared of donating blood, and now i want to promote to ppl...haha ...oops, hoepfully no other red cross ppl reading this...haha)...I was distributing flyers to ppl at science....with ismy's help oso...luckily got her lah, if not i'll be bored to death.
then after red cross, chiong back room, bathe, then go out play badminton with yetfeng, sebas, daniel, kenneth and 2 new ppl that i just got to know....Kenny n ernie...(actually not really sure how to spell their names)...but they are nice ppl lah... actually i had quite a lot of fun playing with them...intensive playing that i never have for quite a few months after i quit training....
i realised, playing with the guys help me to improve my playing oso...coz actually they are stronger, so can force myself to hit harder...if i play with girls, I will be more laid back n play lousier...but doesnt matter lah...as long as i sweat, I'm happy...haha
after the very intense badminton, I rushed back pgp to have dinner with jenn n laura...
then bathe again n rushed to yih for chapter meeting...haha
i really sounds like a busy person, don't i?? but actually make myself busy one lah...I can choose to slack or busy, but i'm happy to be busy. satisfaction...haha(wad a crap)

then yesterday, the whole day, I just watched dvds, youtube....I'm super duper addicted to wei xiao pasta...n I luv the tears from polaris sang by nicholas teo...yay! hope they will upload the episode 11 soon heeee!

Sweety is here...
yep, u can see from the title...sweety is in NUS...they r having concert at Temasek hall today...
Many ppl sure dunno who are they, coz they are not that big in Singapore... but since I've had 8 months of taiwanese tv influence, of course i noe them.
Basically they are made up of 2 gals...and both of them are only around 17 or 18...walau, so young can earn so much liao.... n i predict they will be even more popular...haha...
Actually i dunno their songs coz i only noe them from the taiwanese series that I used to watch. one of them is qiao qiao...she's the cute gal from ai qing mo fa shi...she played as xiao bei... yup, of course i noe her lah, ai qing mo fa shi used to be my fave show...
then the other one is called yen yen..(haiya, dunno how to write her name properly, basically that's how it sounds to me)...she also played a series but cant rmb the title liao.
and two of them also host a variety show with jacky wu. this was one of my fave shows during weekends coz during the shows they will invite some dancers (usually grp or pairs), then they will compete against each other...maybe not as exciting as those reality shows kind but this shows get me to love ballroom dance...it's kinda an exposure to me...
actually i'm supposed to be watching their concert now...I got the tix for free yesterday. but why am I still in front of my laptop here typing...haha yup, coz just now I aledy went to temasek hall with yeanching. then see the queue which is like super duper longgggggggg....how can temasek hall accomodate so many....ckckck...so decided not to queue coz it's just not worth it lah. I think their songs are not that nice oso...Just wanna see them in person, that's all. haha...
but really, no dissapointment...if it's Justin timberlake or Alicia keys or maroon 5, then i really won't mind the queue lah....budden again, those super star wont have their concert at temasek hall for free rite??hahah...
